"Died in storage"
When I tasted this cigar it had spent around 5 years in my humidor at 72% rh. As I remember it, it was very pleasant when I bought it, but now the taste was very mild. Some cedar and cream but in all rather faint. I will lower my storage humidity to 65% rh and see how aging affects new cigars then. It is difficult to rate this cigar since the storage might have affected the taste, but OK, how well the cigar survives storage at 72% rh is also a sign of some sort of quality, I guess. It is worth mentioning that it did not taste bad, just slightly vague. And build, draw and appearance were nice.

"fun to smoke"
This cigar had a very tight draw and that stayed pretty much the whole cigar through. However, eventhough I had to puff like crazy the flavours that this R&J gave me was really pleasurable. Flavours of strong tobacco, wood and it reminded me that cigars don't have to be complex to be enjoyable. The tight draw lowers the poins on this one but the straight bur brings it up slightly. Good cigar, recomended!

"Not bad"
This was a pretty good cigar. The flavor sure lived up to its name - it was full of cedar flavor with a slight sweetness and spice to it. At times, some nutmeg and toast flavors were also discernable, but quite faintly. It also seemed like the cigar wanted to turn a little creamy, but just couldn't overcome the cedar. What I found most surprising about this smoke was the number of Nicaraguans that taste very similar to it. Everyone keeps talking about how the quality of Central American tobacco has gotten so much better than it used to be and I'm starting to believe them more and more. Several Padilla’s, Torano’s and Oliva’s I’ve had taste very similar.

"Excellent Little Smoke"
I thoroughly enjoyed the smoke. Draw was a bit tight but the best of RyJ came through in this small package. The tobacconist said that he thouught this was a "particularly good box". I definitely agree and will head back for more. At the same price as the No.2 Tubo I prefer this smoke.

"Favorite Cigar"
This is one of the best. from the time you take it out and smell it to the time you have to take it off the clip because it's gotten to short to hold. it's smooth, satisfying, flavorfull, and full of pleasant surprises. draws well, burns even, and looks like a work of perfection. i like the # 1's and 2's also. i buy them duty free...

"pretty good"
this was an ok cigar much better than the dominican counter part however i'd take a romeo y julieta anniversario over this not very complex a smoke and the burn was somewhat dry.

"Excellent Saturday Night Cigar"
Don't get me wrong, I could smoke one of these on any night of the week. This cigar has plenty of spice. Make sure you eat a big dinner before lighting up. It is very smooth with a strong finish (in my opinion). I like to drink Maker's Mark with this stick.

"Nice quick smoke."
Woody flavor with a little bit of spice. It is mild to medium boddied. Highly refined, I nubbed it and it still wasn't done. The wrapper was a little bit veiny and the cap was a little bit weak, but it held togother. I enjoyed it a lot.
