"Aging is what it's all about"
I have heard much about this cigar in terms of draw, construction, flavor problems.
I bought this box a few years ago and have been smoking one here and there. Let me tell you, the draw, lighting, burning, flavor are all things that improve with this cigar as you age. Do yourself a favor and hide this box at the bottom of your humidor. Years from now, you'll understand what i'm talking about.

"not a great cuban"
You should expect much more from a cuban cigar. It's OK, but not a stellar smoking experience. I would probably by just about anything else rather than spend my money on another one.

"If you can handle the"
dirty back road rustic construction and uneven quality control, then give these a try. vicweast nailed it in his review. If you get a good one, you might end up agreeing that you landed the BEST TASTING cigar you will ever smoke. So, do you have to be willing to put up with uneven draw and burn and veiny wrappers in your quest? Yes. But do it anyway.

"I love these smokes, but..."
This is my favorite quick smoke. Nice cigar, spotty construction. Sometimes it draws like shit, other times you wonder what you complained about... If they took more pride in the construction, the smoke would be worthy of a 10.

"Amazing"
Nearly the best cigar I have ever smoked. Sweet and Chocolate like (kicked the hell out of a cuban montecristo no.2 that i smoked). White ash and a pleasent weight on the palate. No bitter finish as with the Montecristo.

"Great corona"
Silky smooth wrapper. Lighter flavor than I expected but still full bodied; there is some spice. Excellent construction, but a little difficulut to draw and some relighting was required.

"Great!"
I can't get one to burn straight...and I don't care. The construction is always top notch. RyJ never dissapoints me. Smooth yet very flavourful taste. Drew very nice with a spot in the middle that got REALLY tight. They never burn quite right at first but never let me down with great flavour throughout. Not complex, and does not need to be. Love the MF's and thought I'd try one of these, don't know which to buy now!

"Awesome"
Smoked one from the same box as SeanGar. Amazing how much buzz this one had for such an older cigar. Burned and drew perfectly, with smooth flavor and lots of smoke. Just an awesome cigar.

"Super!!!"
Wow I'm surprised in a way that this cigar didn't rate higher on here. One of the best if not THE best tasting cigars I've ever smoked. Up there with the Padron 1964's. In fact, pretty similar in taste. Cocoa with hints of spice...extremely satisfying. My only complaint was a little bit of uneven burn but the flavor more than made up for it. One of my top cigars now.

"A winner"
Excellent return to form for R & J. I just got a box dated June '03 and they are terrific cigars. Flawless Colorado wrappers, chocolaty/coffee flavor with just a hint of spice, even burn, solid but none-too-tight draw, and the smoke has just the right balance of strength and body. Wonderful

Construction was terrible and had to work with the burn a bit. The taste was good, but not great. Strong and rich with the Cuban twang.

Smoked beautifully true and even. Flavor went from slight cherry cream to intense cherry sweetness. Overall this was good but just too sweet for my tastes.

"It's Ok"
Surprisely disappointing from a cuban and from the Primo name. Still, it was better than most average cigars. The burn was a bit uneven at times, and the re-lighting turned me off. It was flavorful though.
