"OK"
Not a bad smoke for the first half, and the burn and construction was excellent, got a little rough in the last half. Overall it was OK

"Great Cigar"
I picked on up in Canada. First tier Cuban smoke. Smooth and distinctive unlike Dominican or Nicaraguan tobacco. Creamier than any cigar I have had. Too bad we still have this ancient embargo because I would really like to get these at less than $10/stick.

"Hot little sucker"
Ever put too much pepper on something? That is what this cigar reminds me of, too much black pepper on some type of food. It's been a half hour of so, and my mouth is still peppery. Other than the pepper, there is a little cedar flavor but not much else. The construction was decent. The cigar itself felt hard, but the draw was fairly smooth. The burn was OK and the stick held an ash for an inch with no problem. Overall, I usually do not care for shorter smokes and this one falls into that category. I received this cigar as a selection from the Canadian Cigar Club and will not be buying any in the future.

"Nice smoke for a nice day"
had an unexpected day off yesterday and with the sun out and the temp near 60, i decided to live it large. I sat in my patio basking in the sun when I had this urge to smoke an ISOM. I picked this R&J that was a gift from a guy who now exclusively smoke ISOM.
The cigar was handsome looking and the feel was right. The pre-light aroma was cedar. I lit it without any problems and the draw was perfect. I tasted a peppery finish but was left longing for a creamy coffee-ish draw that never came. mid way through the burn became uneven but was resolved with at touch-up. This was a good smoke on a great day day but I was hoping for a great one.

"first cuban"
I received it as a gift, and it had been in the humidor since july 04. Very spicy and peppery, with the draw being a little hard. The burn was for the most part good but had to be touched up twice. I dont know if I would buy a box of these for I have a few others to try before making my mind up.

"mild and sweet"
This is one of a few favorite Corona Gorda formats which I normally enjoy. The box I got was from May02… and have plume on them. A nice mild and sweet cigar with a pleasant after taste.

"Punch Out (5 5/8 x 46)"
These bad boys will put you on your butt without some kind of humidification. I enjoyed a few in 2002 right out the box. Strong pepper and spice don't compliment a long finish. I revisted them in Fall 2004 and they were now smokable. The long finish was now complimented with cedar and perfume tones. The spice was still prevalent but only on the draw. They do not burn consistently and will go out if you don't stoke frequently.

"love the smoke"
these are top-flight except for construction. Gotta take points off when one side always finishes 1-1/2 inches ahead of the other . . .
