"A Must-Have"
I think this cigar is almost necessary for any humidor. While other cigars may be better in one or more areas, this little cigar consistantly appealing in all areas. Its nothing to knock you off your seat, but is still a treat every time you light one up. Mild-Med, well constructed, pleasant to look at, and soothing flavors. I always keep a few in the humi to remind myself what standards other cigars should be beating. The most well rounded cigar.

"Solid 7"
This was an enjoyable cigar, but there was nothing special about it. It had a smooth, mellow flavor that included cedar, hay, and some pencil lead notes on the finish. It would be a fine "everyday" smoke if it was a little cheaper. (I paid $8 bucks for the stick. You can get them at about $6 bucks a piece by the box).

"The Classic Petit Corona"
For me this is the classic Petit Corona thats stood the test of time. You pretty much always know what your going to get when you pick up an R&J PC, great construction & burn, great mild-med flavor that only gets better with age. Getting a little pricey in my opinion, but a definite PC to always have on hand in your Humidor!

"My First Cuban"
Definitely lives up to the hype. Had a buddy of mine smuggle a few of these in from Canada. The construction is probably the best I've seen of any Petit Corona. One draw and you'll be hooked - the smoke is light and airy and none of the rich, Havana leaf flavor escapes your tongue. The great news is, this thing ashes perfectly practically down to the cap. 45 minutes of bliss.

"little puff"
A small cigar thats good for afternoon smoking.A draw problem noted but not enough to ruin the 45 minute ride.

"A diamond in the rough"
Recieved 10 of these in an all Romeo sampler which also included churchills, ex#4s and coronas. This cigar blows all the others away. Great full taste on a medium to full body. These must of been aged and I wish I knew the code because I would pick up at least a couple of boxes. Highly recommended.

"Fabulous"
Everything about this cigar exuded class from the construction to the taste. With some age on them they are really excellent smokes.

"Adding to my favourites"
I am stocking two fistfuls into my humidor. My standard RyJ has been the No.2 Tubo because it is reliable and good value. I now prefer the flavour, nice draw and mildness of these beauties for a quick anytime smoke that I don't have to book an appointment for. Good Cuban taste without the big price tag and risk.

"Romeo"
This cigar smokes very smooth all the way through. It is a little tough to get a powerful puff from but makes up for it in flavor.

"Good but not great"
2 year old box. Aestetically perfect, wonderful draw, great solid dark ash, somewhat youngish flavor without complexity. Will try again in a few weeks.

"Well orchestrated"
This corona bore a honey colored wrapper with some small water spots which was applied like shrink wrap to the perfectly parallel sides of a classic parejo. The artfully applied triple cap was square and flat. The cigar had a slight box press on two sides and a great springy feel. Perfect density allowed a nice draw, and a subtle pre light tease of spice hinted at the flavor to come.
The cigar burst to life with an abundance of opulent smoke, rich with the taste of wet leather and flint tangled up in a core of spice. A thick dark ring marched in an orderly fashion up the cigar as it burned, leaving a medium gray ash bearing the telltale whorls of an artfully hand bunched filler. The cigar burned quickly, releasing the wide spectrum of flavors in a timed and regular progression. From leather to fresh wheat and earth to dark roasted hops, and still the solid ash stood firm like a marble monument. Throughout the burn the finish stayed crisp and peppery with a nice lingering lushness that called anxiously for the next puff. The aroma was nice and light and had a fruity quality reminiscent of the sherry casking used on some fine Scotch whiskys, making the whirling smoke a fine companion to the experience.
At about the halfway mark the wrapper experienced a small amount of cracking and splitting, probably due to the humid night air. While no powerhouse, this cigar was no slouch either, getting in some body shots as it went and creating a cumulative effect of strength. The mournful honks of a goose disturbed from its roost echoed through the valley as it flew overhead added to the experience. The second half of the cigar was sublime as it layered more lush flavors on top of the solid core of spice and nuttiness.
This was a Swiss watch of a cigar; impeccably crafted from fine components and ticking precisely through a well orchestrated chronology of delightful and well mannered flavors. Hiighly recommended.
