Romeo No. 3. Somewhat dark ash, great smoke for a shorter cigar. Slightly metallic taste, probably due to the tube. Not at all intrusive, though - a delightful cigar, but not perfect.

Really tight draw, grassy flavors with some light spice. Really plugged up, too much work and not what you would expect from R&J

"Good Price"
Im unfortunate to be stationed in Iraq, but fortunate to be able to purchase Cuban cigars at well...a discount ($4). I love the size, flavor and burn. Good to have after a long day of fighting terrorism!

"A Favorite"
I'd have to say this is one of my favorite little smokes. Great for traveling or when your on the go (easy to slip into your pocket).
Great flavor, medium, cedary, gets a bit more intense towords the end, hardly ever needs a relight. Definite finger burner!

Costs a little more than it's untubed brother, but you pay for portability.

"Cedar Bomb"
I was fortunate enough to smoke one of these from the 70s tonight. Over 30 years old, yet it burned and drew perfectly, even though the wrapper seemed a tad dry. The overwhelming flavor was cedar, sometimes mellow, sometimes more intense, but rich and enjoyable the whole smoke. I burned my fingers on this little gem, and know I need to try a more recent version to see how they are smoking now.

"Not for me"
First off cigar smoking can be a bit expensive here in Canada because of the taxes on tobacco products, unless you are buying boxes, but to try out a certain cigar I usually buy a few. This is where this cigar loses out for 12$ a peice, not worth the money.I like to keep some of these smaller cigars around for nice little smoke but after the 3rd cigar nothing changed for this one, nice appearrance construction ok but the flavour was not impressive I would take a H.Upmann coronas minor over this one any day for the same price.Smoked this cigar 3 seperate times and each time I wanted to put out, burned well but the flavor just wasnt there for me.

"Superb Short Smoke w/Tons of Flavor"
This is a superb short smoke (40 mins) with great flavors. Occasional notes of perfume and incense. Fine aroma. Strictly medium in body and flavor with a refined sweetness. Like a high-powered Dominican Licenciados! Beautiful finish - a great smoke. Mine aged 2 years. Burn required some touch-ups but really, the taste is soooo good and refined, who cares?? Tobacco on tongue was very salty.

"Smooth dry cedar"
I’d normally rather one of his larger cousin but I really like these. They look good, the aromas a sweet fruity cedar, mine burn nice and even (I find the no2 tubos nightmare burners for some reason) and the flavours a medium body, dry cedar which develops nicely as you work your way down with a finish as long as you like. These will never be the most inspiring cigar, but with a coffee and a newspaper their fantastic.

"Not impressed"
I was more impressed with the Cuban Sandwich than with this cigar. It had a decent burn, but the taste was unlike what I had expected. It was too strong for such a small cigar, I'll take my J.L. Salazars over these anyday.

"Fighting to get out"
Would have been really nice but the draw was too tight to release its potential. Looked and smelled great, what little smoke came out of it was delicious and smooth. Definitely going to give this a second chance.

"A good small smoke for the money."
I don't know who would pay $8 for one, not me. I paid just under $4. But, an enjoyable small amoke. Attractive, constructed well, and good burn. Overall a good buy at $4 but not $8. For $8 you can get a larger smoke with better flavor all day long.

"Very nice indeed!!"
Average price $8!!!!! What in the name of sam hill is up with that!!! This ain't no $8 cigar that's for sure. If this was a 48 guage or so i'm sure this would be a medium to full....but it's just a 40 so it's more of a solid medium. Still a great little cigar with more complexity then you may expect from a stogie this size. Mine ran a little bit, but nothing major. Kept nice flavors till the last inch and a half or so then. Spicy and smooth. Maybe not enough for full bodied fans but fans of mild to solid mediums, you'll be pleased. Can't wait to see how time in the humi treats these.

"Nice but burn problems"
Cigar looked and smelled great, I was ready for a treat so I fired her up. Draw was perfect but the burn gave me a lot of trouble, I needed spit and 2 touchups in this small cigar. The taste was initially medium-mild and strengthened and got more complex in the second half. Cedar, coffee, pepper and other things I can't put names to as it got shorter. For a quick smoke this was nice but I'll store them in the humi for a few weeks instead of burning them directly from the tube if I get more to try and tame the burn as this frustration takes a lot of the enjoyment out of a fine cigar.

"Interesting smoke"
Nice fruity flavor. It was an easy smoke that went well into the second 1/2. It was not quite as good as the Punch petite corona, but I would never turn down one of these Cuban delights.

"10$???"
Are we talking about the same cigar here? I paid 3.5$ for this one in Belgium.
Anyway, nice short cigar. Earthy aroma, ash was a little bit to dark, but it had a very good aftertaste.
The tubos series of Romeo y Julieta are perfect for those who' re trying there first havanas, like me. I think I'll buy the churchill to smoke at New Year's eve .
