"Excellent Cigar!"
This is a very good cigar, although the appearance is a bit deceiving. With an impeccable maduro wrapper, I had expected a smooth smoke with lots of cocoa and coffee flavors. In actuality, the smoke was very smooth but lacked much coffee or cocoa and instead had a nice, mellow woodsy taste with a medium to medium-full body. Very good smoke and can be had for a very good price on many websites. Infinitely superior to Romeo y Julieta's 1875 dog rocket.

"A little mild for me, but a great smoke."
A beautiful slightly toothy wrapper and a nice box pressing. Nice, even burn, all the way through. No touch-ups needed. A smooth draw with good amounts of smoke. A woodsy flavor with a mild/medium body.

"A little ugly"
Got a 5-pack. Went through the first two now. Spent three months aging in the humidor. I remember Romeo y Julieta being high quality, but these just weren't. Burn looked ugly. It was uneven to the point that some parts looked a little chunky inside. Flavor was pretty non-existent -- And I'm not the type that needs super strong flavor. Because of the negative experience on these two sticks I've had now, Romeo y Julieta just got downgraded in my mind.

"Medi-yummy"
On my second box of the toro; this was my third recent sampling of the torp. What a great solid medium bodied cigar. Beautiful construction, draw, wrapper - all top notch. For the price this is a great pick for a go-to smooth stick with an array of interesting sweet spicy flavors with notes of vanilla and cedar. My preference is full bodied but this is a great middle ground with ample taste that is one mellow fellow. I don't know anyone that has not liked this stick regardless of their normal tastes.

"A lil different in a good way!"
The first one of these I bought had a horrible draw and had NO flavor. But since I got it at Cigars international they hand picked me a replacement. This one was much better. Great draw even burn and nice heavy smoke that left a very pleasant taste in your mouth. Mild to medium bodied but nothing too strong, had a nice blend of tobacco and woodsy taste. No bitter or harshness whatsoever. Would defiantly consider these again when the stock pile in my humi gets low.

"Mellow, sweet, mid-strength flavor"
I am not a big fan of the Romeo y Julieta cigars. Flavor wise they just seemed rather bland. This cigar is a whole different story. I have smoked all five I purchased even though they had only been in my humidor for 2 weeks. The pre-light aroma was slightly sweet and the pre-light draw was easy. The cigar burned straight and true and released volumes of white smoke. The taste was mid-strength, a mix of woodsy tobacco with mellow coffee and caramel flavors. The flavor stays mild and slightly sweet all the way to the end, without any harshness creeping in. Such a fine smoke that I immediately ordered a box.

"pleasantly surprised"
I had high hopes going in, but was apprehensive because of a recent experience my cousin had. He bought a box based on all the positive reviews, but had to return it after smoking the first 6, all with a very poor draw. I, on the other hand, have nothing but good things to say about this stick. It is a nice looking cigar that is well-constructed, with a tight box press and a wrapper that holds up to frequent handling. The pre-light draw was perfect, and gave an indication of the sweetness that was to follow. Upon lighting, the sweetness dominated, and persisted during the whole smoke. This is a somewhat mild cigar, with no harshness but still delivers solid tobacco flavor. Toward the end, the sweetness gave way slightly to a more woody flavor, but the marriage was perfect and caused the cigar to finish with more kick then when it started. Burn was good throught save for one correction. Overall a great smoke on the milder side of medium, sweet but still packing great flavor. I will definitely be picking up more of these
