An attractive and well constructed cigar that had a sweet aroma and felt good in the hand. Burned faster than expected but evenly with a conical ash. Lasted about 45 minutes. This cigar had an outstanding draw and was definitely a very smooth smoke. Alt

"Classy & Great"
Overall, this is one of the finest cigars on the market. It is rated as mild/medium, however that does not mean that it is tasteless. On the contrary, it has a great taste. Also, a perfect draw and never a burn issue. I've smoked 15 boxes of these, and they never disappoint.
I alternate this with the more spicy and full bodied ligero and double ligero cigars that are designed to give a buzz and jolt the senses and taste buds.

This mild-medium bodied cigar with medium smoke volume and it burns very cool and even.

"Tasteless"
Yawn...This cigar is so mild it's tasteless. The Vintage line has always been mild, but they used to be better than this. Tastes and smells like you're smoking notebook paper. Waaaaaaay overpriced. Construction, burn and draw are excellent however.

"One of my favorite mild cigars"
Love the size (7 1/2x50), the construction and flavor on this one. It won't blow anyone away and if you prefer medium to full bodied cigars move on to the next one but the R&J Vintage #5 is one of the smoothest, creamiest and pleasant cigars I know. Very mild.

"too mild"
This mild-medium bodied cigar has a spicy body, with hints of cocoa, cedar, toasted nuts, and herbs, small hints of pepper.. Nice balance of flavors, with medium smoke volume, and long herbal finish. It¡¦s milder than I had expected. Smoke is a little creamy, and it burns very cool. At first I thought it¡¦s a complex cigar, but after a few draws, the flavors seems to have faded, and has become a bit too uni-dimensional. The flavors were left with spicy and herbal/grassy.
Draw is easy. It's an okay cigar.

"kinda like pancakes"
A big long mild cigar. mellow flavors, creamy and marshmallowy, like a big white fluffy cloud. I prefer much stronger fuller flavored cigars than this, yet the vintage is the most complex mild cigar I've smoked. This cigar delivered hints of cocoa, vanilla(!), tapioca and herbs. To buy a mild smoke, this is the one. Just don't expect a ass kicking buzz that turns you into a mumbling monkey.

"Toasty Smokes"
Handsome cigar, flawless wrapper. Nice red and gold band. Real Churchill size, not like some cheaters out there. Toasty, with some herbal notes. Nice burn. A little mild for my taste, but the quality is evident.
