"nice, but not great"
A bit of Cuban creaminess, but draw was tight like others have noted. 2003 box.

"Smooooth"
Very smooth cigar with wood notes and some creaminess. The burn was almost perfect and never needed a touch up. while the draw was just slightly tight but very smokable, producing lots of smoke. A long finish but not a lot of complexity, definitely a fine smoke nonetheless.

"Mmmmm....no"
This corona with box code AEP 1/06 comes dressed nicely in a Colorado wrapper with the traditional triple cap and minimal veins. No soft spots were detected, and there was a slight box press. Easy light. Firm draw. Grey-white ash.

Started with sweet wood. The first third brought flavors of mocha and coffee beans eaten straight out of the roaster. A strong tannic quality was noted. In the middle third, the tannic tobacco core continued with hints of wood and floral notes, as well as a detectable ammoniac nuance. The last third saw much of the same with a hint of licorice.

The main issue, however, was the tight draw, even obtrusive, I would say. This was despite 3 days of dry boxing after storage at 65/63. This clearly was the dominant noticeable characteristic of this particular stick, and sabotaged any enjoyment I otherwise would have derived from this one dimension, medium-bodied, youthful cigar.

"Pretty tasty"
Nice looking cigars, pre-light draw was particularly inviting. Burned well most of the way, but the cigars expanded and wrapper started unravelling around the band. Dunno if it was a humidification issue. In any case, the taste was excellent but not spectacular.

"Smooth"
Medium-dark wrapper with some veins. Variable density led to two re-lights. Fine flavour, though - coffee and cream with some chocolate notes. Very smooth to the finish.

"Nothing special"
Dry woody flavor with a modest amount of spice with a dry flat finish. Decent refinement. Not a regular smoke in my rotation.
