Saint Luis Rey (Cuba) Double Corona

There is something neat about a double corona-sized cigar! It warrants a full two hours to best be enjoyed. Although there are a number of different ones on the market--the Saint Luis Rey shines to the top of the list.

Pungent beyond words, when you open the cabinet of SLR's you get the fullest "barnyard" aroma imaginable. And it is this loveable Cuban "stench" that usually indicates you're also in for a smoking treat.

I've read of reviewers being able to discern "fruitcake" and "plum" flavors in this cigar and I have to agree. It's everything one would want in a cigar. A beautiful cigar in every respect.

A cute story: I gifted one to a friend in a sampler and he re-gifted it to an important friend who had traveled the world and upon smoking it said, matter of factly: "I have traveled to 30 countries and smoked thousands of cigars. This is the finest cigar I've ever smoked--bar none!!"

That pretty much sums up the SLR DC.
