"SLR PC"
This was my first Cuban. This is the one that got me hooked. A great little cigar with a complex array of flavors.... choclate, cocoa, coffee...

In my opinion, the best of the PCs from ISOM land. A great kick, plenty of flavor, and a great price. My favorite ISOM.

"Nice petit corona"
The first i tried from the box was average. Now,a month later a smoked two in a row and there was a big improvement. The draw was fine as before but the aromas and flavour just pour out especially after the first quarter. Needs some time in humidor. Good price also.

"I give up"
I bought a box of these 2 years ago. The first few I smoked were very harsh and strong. After a long nap, the flavor improved, but these cigars all suffer from poor draw and burn. 3 puffs might yield half as much smoke as you should get from a single draw on a well built cigar. Flavor is ok after a long sleep, but it's not worth the effort. Nice and cheap for a cuban, but I'm done with these.

"great smoke"
a pleasent enjoyable smoke that awakens the smokers taste buds. The cigar is more a medium full than a mild medium but even those smokers that shy away from the heavy smokes should try this beauty.

"Strong and complex"
A very very good cigar. Bold, heavy and complex with a broad hint of spice and pepper. Detailed construction, an even draw and a firm grey ash. Very heady after the first 1/3.

"Powerful"
Nice cigar, if you like a very heavy and harsh nicotine blast. Saying the cigar is "strong" would be an understatement. Good flavor, good construction, but too big of a kick for me.

"Excellent!"
This was a beautiful little cigar with a shiny, honey brown wrapper that featured a few dark highlights. The red and gold band slipped right off. The tight stick sported a beautiful triple cap expertly applied and the roll was firm and compact. A small light spot and a few green water spots added character to an otherwise flawless cigar. The pre light draw was firm and tasted of earth and manure.

Lit easily and delivered a blast of flavor immediately. The medium strength was laced with a wide spectrum of tastes from good mellow spice like pepper and cumin to a hint of fruit and the telltale earthiness of a fine Habano. The flavor increased in volume throughout culminating in a crescendo of excellence. The cigar burned slowly revealing more complexity as it went. A tight gray ash formed and held tightly, and the cigar only burned unevenly once, towards the middle, requiring a brief touch up and producing a long inner cone. The draw closed down a bit at that point as well, but after a second clip it opened right up.

Enjoyed on the deck overlooking the lake on a cold autumn evening with a glass of ’97 Cloudy Bay Chardonnay, the warm full smoke offered a nice counterpoint to the light breeze. The aroma was classic and mouth watering and advertised the depth of the smoke. A nice, polished and pure finish stayed with me for a while and was very pleasant.

Overall this was a wonderful small Cuban offering direct access to the wonderful complexity the island has to offer. Medium bodied with excellent flavor in a tight package. This produced a great even flavor profile and made me wish I’d bought several more boxes. Highly recommended.

"one of the best PC's"
Smoked many Cuban pc's and this one ranks among the best. Great construction, large volumes of smoke, even burn. The first ince is very spicy almost burning a hole in my mouth. The spice melows and a nice coffee and tabaco flavour develops with almost a chocolate undertone. Then the spice comes in again at the end. Great little smoke. The only downside is that they are a bit pricy.

"great smoke but...."
This is by no means a bad cigar. the draw is amazing and i can taste the spiceiness. You can really taste the smooth creamy smoke. If you like it that way then definately try it. This was an english market selection cigar so tastes may differ from other countries. However i like them sweet so it is not for me. The dark wrapper is beautiful and looks great. I have tasted better but i am not going to let my secret out. Then there will be none left for me. Ok i will tell you beacuse i am a nice guy. try the rafael gonzales petit corona or lonsdale. They really kick ass!!!!

"Nice morning smoke"
The SLR, has a nice drak wrapper with a little bit of tooth, that burned very evenly and had a nice draw. Medium boddied, with a dark coffee flavor. It definatly would have gone better with some coffee, than the 15 y/o Glenfiddich Solera Reserve that I chose to pair it with. It definatly got stronger as I smoked it down. As it smoked, it took on a slighly floral undercurrent of flavor, that was quite nice. It had a short spicy finish.
