"rich and full bodied"
What Honduran Punch used to taste like, rich and full bodied. J.R. Ultimate #1 maduro is the only other cigar I know with this fullness. Age for two years

"not as good as other st.luis rey's"
The St. luis line has become very popular lately and this cigar has high reviews. the wrapper and construction are first rate. the flavor started off a bit grassy with a hint of wood. about halfway it picked up a little leather but really never developed as their other cigars do. The 60 ring robusto is a much more fulfilling st. luis rey.

"Great cigar.....with time"
I bought a box of these over a year ago. I had also read CA and noticed the high rating. The first one out the box tasted terrible and I immediately regretted the purchase. I decided to shift my attention to other cigars and let them sit in the humi. I tried one the other day and it was one of the best smokes I've had in over 12 years of smoking. It was powerful, complex and balanced. A great draw and taste to match. Now my only regret is giving so many of them away when inexperienced smokers would visit. If you have the time and room in your humi I recommend these.

"Great med cigar"
This is a very well constructed cigar. Draw is almost perfect, it burns evenly up to mid point where it starts to go uneven. Very nice mild flavor. An excellent cigar overall

"good smoke"
This is a good smoke, my 2nd one. Nice construction, little flakey ash, but good cool burn. Mild to medium bodied, creamy, with nice pops of sassafras and birch. Will smoke more of these.

"great buy"
The flavors here aren't as dynamic as the stellar Churchill, but this is still a damned good smoke. Gorgeous wrapper with some tooth. Construction is superior. Straight burn, easy, cool draw. This one developed some creamy complexity late. Reach for the Chruchill first, but you certainly can't go wrong with the Belicoso.

"awesome value smoke"
I bought a box for less than $85. Great smoke that I think pairs well with lite beer. It can be inconsistant though. about 2-4 per box are duds. But for the price its still an awesome value. Burns a little uneven, but tastes great. Def full bodied.

"The worst box I have ever bought"
After seeing the high rating from CA I was confident that for the price a box was going for it wouldn't be a bad investment. Wow was I wrong! Not one cigar had an even burn; it constantly went out, and the taste was so harsh that every time I lit one up I got a headache. I have been smoking cigars for over eight years; I generally smoke three to four cigars a week. The poor quality of this cigar surprised me so much that I took my humidor into the local shop to make sure it was operating correctly; it was. I might have been the unlucky one that got a defective box, but I guarantee I won't buy another one to find out. Beware!!!

"Quality affordable cigar."
I am an occasional cigar smoker and prefer a milder cigar. I tried this cigar because of its recent high marks in CA. My drink was ice water. The appealing wrapper is medium-dark reddish brown. Drawing it unlit yeilded a leathery tobacco flavor and hint of blackstrap molasses. The feel of the cigar is moderately firm with no soft spots and has a semi-squared cross section. It has a medium draw. As expected, it was a bit hot and ashy starting out, then at a half-inch it mellowed to smooth and slightly peppery with plenty of smoke. The flavor was accented with leather and cedar overtones and an occasional hint of vanilla. A double puff on this cigar every now and then increased the spicyness on my palate without any increased harshness. The burn was even. The ash was white and held for almost 2". Seems like a good one to age in the humidor. Three words to describe it - Smooth, interesting and affordable.

"Worth the money, but a 91?!"
I'm somewhat new to the serious side of cigar smoking so maybe I didn't know what to expect. I picked this cigar because of the 91 rating in CA this month. I liked the ash - white and didn't flake. For the life of me I could not keep the cigars lit - they were always burning out even after one minute of not smoking. They burned unevenly as well. Taste was ok, I guess. Medium boldness.

"good value"
this cigar was pretty good. i was probably expecting a little much from the cigar after seeing the 91 CA rating last month. looked very appetizing. the taste was a creamy with some woodsy notes. medium bodied. the burn struggled at times. good for the value. reminded me somewhat of the monte #2. still not nearly as good, but then again...when it comes to figurados what is.

"Nice every day cigar"
Nice construction (can be a bit soft some times) and a good value for an every day <$4 cigar. The Belicoso style seems to be rolled very well, never had a hard draw with this style. Can rolled be a bit soft. A medium-mild smoke. More mild flavored than the El Rey Del Mundo robusto, La Gloria Cuban, or JR alternatives.

"A great cigar even if it cost more"
The high rating this cigar has is warranted. It is a nicely shaped cigar with good color. The ash is a bit flaky and the cigar gets spongy after a while, but it has a decent burn and a good draw producing plenty of smoke. It starts off meaty and savory with a kick of spiciness; the last third of the smoke is much softer and mellower, almost tasting like a completely different cigar. Maybe the best $3 cigar out there, and a great cigar period.

"Especial"
If you remove the band and put it aside a Cuban Montecristo #2, there is no difference. The wrapper has the beautiful brown-reddish color only Cubans have.
If you smoke it, it may be even better ! An absolutely delightful cigar.....

"Good value"
A very good cigar that is undervalued in the marketplace. Good draw without any burn problems; flovor is good from beginning to end. Not a smoke for an empty stomach - these puppies are full bodied. Bought a box and have placed 10 in the bottom drawer of my humi; my guess is that they will be even better in a few months - tho they are good right out of the box.

"WOW Great Smoke Aged 6mos"
Nic binder and wrapper filled with honduran Nicaraguan and Peruvian tobacco resulted in a full but smooth smoke with an excellent burn right to the nub.

"Best Bargain"
H2000, rolled in '96. Bought JR closeout @39.95 +. Kicking self since for not buying more. Great flavors, including the taste of Flying Dutchman pipe tobacco. About an '8' on the zero to 10 strength scale.
