This is one of the best values that I have found. It is a joy to smoke and is better than many costing 3 times a much.

this is an excellent stick. it uses the Habana 2000 wrapper and delivers a full bodied taste with hints of spice

"A dramatically underrated smoke"
Mottled wrapper, but oily with a reddish hue. Nice draw, and the burn required only one touchup. Once it warms up, it's nutty and rich with hints of cinnamon. Medium body, good for almost any time of day. Chewy and satisfying, though I find that these are better fresh. This one had a year of rest in my humi. A great buy.

"Plenty of smoke for the buck"
This is a really big cigar and should be called a double corona. It draws just a tad loosely, but the burn and ash formed are fine. It may seem a bit bold at first but settles into a pleasant smoke with rich woody flavors and a medium spiciness. At under $4, one of the best values around.

"Another Sunday"
I tried this one two years ago and was very pleased. I noticed the more recent ratings were through the basement and decided to take another look. I'm quite pleased to say that nothing has changed. Beautiful looking cigar, with a PERFECT BURN, solid flavor, and great finish. It's now a Tinder Box standard and I challenge anyone to find a better value for less than 4 bucks. Highly recommend!$!

"Get me more... Stat!"
Despite the consistently good CA ratings, this is a brand I haven't paid much attention to. When I snagged one of these, I was intrigued but still skeptical. The wrapper was chestnut brown, perfectly uniform in color, with an oily sheen. No soft spots. The first half followed CA's review to the letter. Well balanced flavors, a solid med-full body. Good, but not spectacular. And then somewhere just past the halfway point, it started to change gears. Creamier and more complex with each hit, and distinct flavors started coming at me as fast as I could identify them. I kept hitting it to try to pick out the flavors ("Was that hazelnut or cashew? Cinnamon or nutmeg?"), but it seemed to change slightly every time. At risk of overstating the point, it developed the same quality as the second half of a good Hoyo DC -- at some point, you give up analyzing it and just let it rush over you. The only gripe was that the bunch seemed to burn a little faster than the wrapper, so I had to touch it up a few times. But that was likely my own doing, since I had stored it briefly in a humi that runs a bit soggy. Anyway, I like to think I'm a stingy grader, but this SLR was a seriously memorable stick. Maybe I just got a lucky one? Dunno, but I intend to find out. I need a box of these, stat!

"Full bodied, not harsh"
A full boided cigar with no harshness. Sounds good, huh? Full bodied cigars can be somewhat one dimendional when they lack complexity and that was one flaw in this cigar. The other was the uneven burn and having to relight it 4 times.

"Don't buy this cigar"
Bought a box of these from JR. Worst cigar I ever smoked in 30 years. Would prefer a Dutch Master by far. Would not light or stay lit, would not draw, tasted awful, and burned the ____ out of my tongue. Have been in humidor now for almost 9 months. Will now burn but still tastes bad.

"Much ado about nothing"
Poorly constructed, would not hold a light, undistinguishable taste, save your money

"Decent but With Flaws"
Decent medium-bodied smoke with nice nutty, coffee flavors, but the draw is firm and the burn uneven.

"Sunday Churchill"
This is a very good cigar! Great construction, consistent burn, full flavor. You'll need an hour to smoke this one, but will enjoy every minute. Highly recommend.

"Great Everyday Smoke!"
Had to age the box for a few months to get these new smokes just right...and it was worth the wait! What a beautiful cigar, and for the price, simply outstanding. Smooth and a little sweet it starts out just a little weak, as do a lot of Churchills, but quickly builds to a creamy coffee flavor with a sweet and spicy finish. A real value to those who like a big traditional Churchill.

"2Late"
Never got to try the "good" SLRs before they changed the blend. The H2000 variety I did get were pretty good though. Beautiful chocolate colored wrapper, multi-country filler and full body and flavor. Smoke volume and draw was ample. I just can't quit thinking of how I missed out on experiencing the originals.

"Everyday Favorite"
This is a fine medium bodied smoke at a great price. Very consistent in woodsy flavor with light spiciness. Never bitter. Smooth draw that produces volumes of smoke.
