"Excellent"
I got one as a gift and I liked this cigar so much I ordered an entire box. I like full bodied cigars and this one has that. It was so massive in the hand that I was a little put off and the draw was very light and airy at first but all of that changed after about 5 minutes. The cigar burned a little unevenly and required one relight, but that was more than made up for by the flavor. Cinnamon and spice and a slight coffee taste. I loved it and wished it would never end, and it almost didn't, a 90 minute smoke.

"Great Stick"
I tried this stick for the first time at a local upscale lounge and really enjoyed it. It was very flavorful and gave me an even burn the entire time. It lasted longer than just about any other smoke I've had and I found it held my attention the entire time. Great smoke and even better buy.

"worth a try"
Good not great. I am not in the WOW or Impressive group.
Good taste start to finish but on the medium side for it size and look.
nice construction. I would go search for more of these but I wouldn't turn one down.

"Admirable flavor, will try more"
This stick had a lot of good characteristics: rich flavor that evolved through a good, long smoke. Overall flavor profile is darker leather-type smoke, not unlike the La Gloria Cubana Serie R. Construction was so-so: had a weak draw until I opened up the punch some, but after that was sorted out had few issues until the last quarter-or-so where it became unsmokably plugged. I'm pretty cautiously enthused, though, this was a good smoke. Who should try it: folks who like the Excalibur #1-Maduro and darker, this is pretty well balanced but dark.

"Impressive size , rustic look and burn"
The cigar has a nice aroma and a light draw. Burn was uneven and had to constantly touch up. Flavor at light up was a nice earthy woody flavor but really went nowhere. I have enjoyed many st. louies more than this one.

"Wow ! Impressive !"
I have smoked 4 toros and 3 rothchildes. This brand is now a FAVORITE. From the first draw to the last they remained consistent in flavor and burned evenly throughout. Tastey sticks!

"Pretty good"
This is a good looking cigar. The draw was really good in the beginning, but became a little tight for me as I progressed through the smoke. Burn was also uneven near the middle. Medium to full bodied w/ a great smell throughout.

"Great value"
Great smoke. I tried a couple of them, great construction, draw and flavor. I would say medium strength. The burn was kind of uneven at some point but nothing major. Great value cigar (less than 6 box). Top of my list, more enjoyable than a lot of +$10 cigars. By far!!!

"Among my new favorites"
It's all about the flavor: Complex, smooth and just plain unique. Price is very reasonable as well. Had to dock off a few points on construction since 3 of the 8 that I've smoked were plugged or very tightly rolled.

"I have died and found heaven..."
For 6 bucks, I didn't expect as good a cigar as this was. I'm not a "construction caring" guy, but the burn was straight as could be -- with a ghost-white ash that lasted past the halfway (yes, really, 3 inches of rock-solid ash!) point! For the taste, I'd say a somewhat spicy (not sure if a "salty black licorice aftertaste" makes sense, but that's almost exactly what it is) overtone with hints of chocolate intermixed. VERY rich, full finish that I can't stop raving about! Not quite as full- bodied as the wrapper made me believe (more medium than anything), but it is full- flavored to me. I've been saving for a few boxes, as these are GREAT off the truck, but even better with age (i've only been able to suffer 3 months of aging before giving in and smoking them...) Can't stop raving about this, but if I carry on any longer, you'd be apt to grab a white jacket and place me in a padded room...

"delicious"
Amazing that this cigar costs only $6+. Beautiful reddish-brown wrapper reminiscent of many habanos. Tastes like many habanos too. So smooth, so flavorful. Taste is a spicy sweet chocolate with a nice long finish. What a work of art inside & out. Complaints are very few. I don't often smoke toros so this particular vitola had a very loose draw for me and it was difficult for me to keep it burning well. That being said, construction is still excellent - firm and straight. Highly recommended. I truly appreciate SLR pricing this where they did and not much higher, which they could have. I can't wait to try the Churchill.
