A new Cuban Cigar, as far as I know.Smoked it, among others, during a 2 week stay i Habana, start of December this year.A smooth buning cigar, with an excellent dark brown wrapper. The taste has coffie and cocoa in it , with hints of pepper and roasted nut

The San Cristobal de la Habana "El Morro" is the newest marque from the Island in the hybrid size of 7x50. It is a light bodied and light flavored smoke very similar in taste to Rafael Gonzales. Much lighter than the Hoyo de Monterrey line.

"very under rated"
This is a fine example of cuban cigar making most of the time. I have smoke about 5 boxes of these over the years. I got one bad box. Possibly a poor crop that year I don't know but they just didn't tast like they normally do. Great flavor and construction when on. Smooth, strong, and tasty.

"mucho review disparity!"
First, a humble and honest disclaimer to mr Sigar: Sir, I mean no ill-will nor disrespect! But, it's hard (for me, and IMHO only!) to read the reviews given to the El Morro and El Fuerza without commenting on the possibility of getting a bad boxx, maybe even a counterfeit! I unknowingly bought a counterfeit box of La Punta's a couple years ago, and I was astonished at the "quality" of the labels, packaging and even warranty stickers...even had the UV watermark...but, when you lit it, you knew. Anywa, I am certainly not saying these are the best smokes out there, but The El morro, for instance, has, to me, such a great depth to it, as well as consistancy from box to box, that I wish I could send you one of mine to see if you felt the same way! One thing I really like about the El Morro and El Fuerza as well is the QC that can be lacking in some of the older, more established brands...color matching, for instance, is usually spot-on, and although I usually prefer a bit stonger smoke, I find that the depth as well as the multi-dimensional tastes and notes that keep these two smokes interesting. This is an aside only, but I also like the one of a kind size formats of these two...the El Fuerza was the only 5.5 X 50 Cuban cigar out there until this year, I believe, and the El Morro, with the length of a Churchill, but the girth of a Double Coe makes for a great smoke. (I am serious about sending you an El Morro, if you want to email me at dlctwice@yahoo.com) One more quick note...there are seemingly still many boxes of these two vitola as well as the La Punta available from many dealers in good vintages and good factories. The factory codes of KMM and EAR are usually great, and I'm always surprised to see how many boxes from these factories are still available in the '03 vintage, and even from '01! Okay...sorry for the long winded note, and, no, I don't have stock in the company!

"Nice"
Started with a slightly tight draw and mild flavor, but the draw loosened up a little and the flavor was pleasant. Good stick.

"Waste of time."
These always look well constructed and burn perfectly, but then so do Lucky-Strikes but I bet Lucky-Strikes have more flavour. I’d love to know where the other reviews have found their hints of coffee, coca, roasted nuts and cedar. Maybe they were walking past a Starbucks or were digging a chunk of peanut from between their teed with a cedar tooth pick because there nothing of the sort in this cigar. In fact the most exciting thing about it is putting it out.

"I got a dog"
Very disappointed: tight draw, uneven burn (cigar had difficulty staying lit), and unremarkable taste. Must get ahold of another to see if I just choose the short stick.

"Nothing like it"
Without a doubt, one of my favorite cigars. From appearance to taste, this cigar has it all. Slow, cool burn...earthy, heady flavors that are toasty and cedary...sweet, pleasant aroma...and a light, medium-bodied strength allowing me to puff carefree (nonstop) for an hour.

"Unlike Anything Else!"
This is one of the most unique, full-flavored cigars you can smoke. Tobacco, cocoa and something really tasty and rich I can't quite name. Some too-hard rolled samples from my box from a box from '02, but all in all an extravagant smoking experience

"Worth the effort"
A tight draw on the cigar, but very smokeable none the less. The complex flavors of cocoa and coffee were a treat, and made the tight draw worth the effort. Good burn, great flavor.

"Nice"
I thought this was an excellent slow burning smoke with a mixture of flavors that start off relatively mild and perk up in the second half. A bit of canoeing that I had to work with in the first third.

"more el morro"
Darkly marbled wrapper, tigh construction & draw. Consistent & complex with notes of wood, spice, roasted nuts, & charred cherries. A smoke resonanting with symphonic subtleties.

"Wonderful Taste"
Delicious blend of cocoa and coffee, smooth burning, and medium bodied. The draw was a bit firm, and not as much smoke as I would like. Otherwise, a gorgeous looking cigar.

"Saint Cristobol"
A wonderful rich and flavorful stick. Full of coffee and cocoa flavors on a well made, slow burning stick.
