"Good but not great."
A good cigar but not great. These were a special at $14.00 they usually go for $21.00. They are'nt worth that much! A very mild start that grows spicy about half way through the cigar, There are hints of cocoa and coffee in the smoke and aftertaste. This particular cigar was in my opinion a little green, there was some difficulty in the draw. Maybe with a few months in the humidor they would smoke a little better. In short it was a decent smoke but terribly overpriced.

Bad draw, little taste. Wrapper started to unravel. Good burn with a dark grey ash.

"SO-SO"
Started out with roasted nuts and caramel flavors. Tight draw ut plenty of smoke from it. Opened up in the last half. Middle third was almost leathery/toasted tobacco. Finish got a little acrid but not too bad. Overall it is a good smoke. After the first 2/3rds I thought this was the best Cuban I had tried. Last third hurt that a little.Wrapper was great. Hardly any visible veins. Pre light arome was fantastic.

"pretty tasty"
After being aged for 3 yrs in my humidor, I pulled this one out today and lit it up. Nice medium body but was marred by a bad burn, canoe-ing badly. The first halfburned hot and tasted papery, but I corrected the burn half way and it settled down into a very fine second half, very toasty and tasty to the end, with the typical Cuban tang. It was rescued by the second half and I smoked it to the nub.

"Good but too expensive"
Having liked the Principe, I decided to try the Punta. It was definitely a good cigar, with a smooth creamy/toasty flavor in the first half. The second half built in intensity a bit to medium with the typical charry cuban fingerburner smoothness. If it were not for the far superior value of the Cuabas this would probably get better marks.

"not a bad cuban"
Not my favorite Cuban by any means but, still will not hesitate to smoke more. Good quality construction and appearance, and the burn/ performance could not be knocked. The flavor was something I have to be in the mood for with dried floral and oak notes. My wife tried this one and said by far it is her favorite with it's flavor and smell (I prefer coffe and cocoa, pepper and spice).

"A Really Great Cigar"
Tried one in Canada, and was very impressed. Just obtained a few more, and the consistencey is excellent. This is one of the best, if not the best moderate body, but complex flavored cigar that I 've smoked.

"Very smooth and Tastey"
Great looking and better yet great flavor. The draw was nice and easy, with lots of creamy smoke. The finish is spicy and lasts for a reasonable amount of time. An excellent cigar for a decent price (as long as it is purchased somewhere other than Canada; like mine).

"No punt with La Punta"
If you are undecided about buying a box of cubinskies, do not hesitate if you are considering a lot of these. Creamy, dense complex flavors that linger and dance in your mouth. What cigar smoking is all about, I've smoked boxes from '01 and now '04. This is a treat. Plus they look gret

"Good, not great"
Fine looking small belicoso. Had one tonight alongside a Fuente 858 and I liked the Fuente a bit better. Draw was nice and smooth, burn was excellent, ash somewhat flaky. Some of the habano twang was there but I found the draw overly loose in the second half and it tended to burn hot. Went out twice as well as I was trying to smoke it slowly so it didn't get hot. I liked the cigar, but its in the price range of better smokes.

"A litle short in the flavor department"
This medium boddied smoke was perfectly made with a terrific wrapper. The draw was a bit loose, but the burn was perfect. The light colored ash was firm. The flavor was a little bit tough to pin down. Sometime woody, sometimes like light coffee. Overall it was a little bit muddled, but worth revisiting the next time I can get one.

"A TRUE HABANO!"
I' VE READ RAVE REVIEWS FROM DIFFERENT CIGAR MAGS AND I WAS TRYING NOT TO GIVE INTO THE HYPE, BUT I'VE GOT TO SAY THAT THIS IS DEFINITELY HANDS DOWN ONE OF THE BEST CUBAN SMOKES THAT I'VE TRIED. THE COLOR AND THE CONSTRUCTION WERE SUPERB.PACKED WITH COCOA THIS RICH FULL BODIED CIGAR WILL BECOME A CLASSIC WITH AGE. A TRUE GEM IN THE MAKING!

"Great smoke!"
Just got done smoking the first out a box that was manufactured 10/01, my first experience with a San Cristobal. I disagree with some of the previous reviews, I think this is one of the best Cubans in its class. The construction and draw were superb, and the ash was the tightest of any cigar I've ever smoked. The flavor may not have been as bold or complex as some, but it was a pure pleasure to smoke. Highly recommended.

"patience !"
My box was disappointing at first. But upon their first birthday, there were noticeable changes. Some nice spicy flavors developed, and the wrapper has begun to darken in places. I think these may turn out quite special!

"Nothing special here"
Granted this was a bit of a young version at less than 1 year old, but never the less, didn't impress me. A smaller looking torpedo the wrapper was very light colored and bland. The flavor matched suit, no personality, and not willing to come out of it's shell.

Perhaps a beginner's Habano, but not a good ambassador from the island.

"No Biggie"
Nice enough package, but not the kind of fountain of flavor I would expect from ISOM stick. Mild, simple tobacco flavor. Not a crime if it were a 2 dollar cigar, but at Canadian prices it just doesn't make any sense. Still has that power in the end.
