"Not so much..."
This has become more of an everyday type smoke for me. Split a box with my partner, so I've smoked a few. I can't agree that it has any special complexity or uniqueness of taste. Compare it to a Montecristo and I think you'd agree. Well made, good burn, attractive chocolate brown wrapper (if a bit mottled). A fine value and a good, but not great, cigar.

"Disappointed"
I've tried two sticks from this brand and both have been terribly plugged. The flavor seemed enjoyable, but it was hard to get a good taste with such a bad draw. Here's to hoping the third time is the proverbial charm.

"Simply exquisit!"
Pu chased a box of these at a reasonable price ($313), with this being my first experience with the San Cristobal line. Presentation is magnificent (beautiful cherry red box with gold hardware!). Excellent construction, great burn with complex mix of cocoa, sweetish citrus & a hint of spice (cinnamon?). As already mentioned this is one of the better LCDH line, not as green as most. I've smoked 5 so far & am going to do my best to let at least half the box age for another year at or more. Wish me luck!

"very nice"
Perfect burn and construction. Not as much smoke produced, but complex cubanesque flavor with caramel/molasses/burnt brown sugar, cinnamon, orange, light mocha and hints of cedar. A great experience. Age will turn these into a 99. They're at a 95 now IMHO. Overall, this was medium bodied and plain old perfect on a crisp fall evening.

"LCDH Purchase"
Purchased four singles from an LCDH. Smoked two, brought two home for gifts. Dramatically different, dark color compared to the other offerings in the LCDH. Perfect construction. Very dark, but not what I consider to smell or taste like a maduro. One of the first cigars that I could experience a variety of flavors and complexity. A very rich version of the unique SCDLH taste. Also tried a murallas, wasn't nearly so impressed. I'm tired of paying exorbitant prices for Cuban cigars, but the Mercaderes is probably worth the cost.

"Very Nice"
From the beautiful packaging to the top notch construction and complex flavors, this is a very nice new offering from San Cristobal. I"ve had my box for about a month now and I couldn't take looking at them any longer so I cracked it open and smoked 2 today!
Well aged, perfect burn and construction. These will be a classic in the not so distant future.
I would also add that I coupled this smoke with a little Macallan Fine oak 15. Great combo!

"The bomb"
Gorgeous cigars: perfect triple cap, pretty wrappers. The burn was problem free, haven't been more than 10 days in the humidor at 65% so I was probably pushing it to smoke one .... but I had to. The devil made me do it. In any case, I was impressed with the taste which seemed very mature for such a young cigar. Burned long and when I got to the last inch I let it go out. Really an excellent cigar. I don't know how they'd age given that they're so dang tasty right now ... I'm assuming these will be better in a year or two but they're not like some of the LEs that appear to need extended age to peak.
