"Once Spicy Stick"
This was my first experience with the San Cristobal line. I only knew that it was blended by Pepin. I should have known what I was in store for....especially after looking at that dark oily wrapper. The stick was very pretty and burned fantastic. The spice at times was overpowering and stayed on my tongue for a little longer than I wanted. Overall, it was a great smoke, only a little stronger than I wanted.

"Good stuff"
This is one very good smoke to say the least. The construction was very very good and the flavors were very good. Full bodied with spice and earth with a toasty taste to it. Not the most complex but enjoyable.

"a Pepin, yes"
No doubt similar, but different. Nice satiny dark wrapper holding in some nutty, leathery flavors. Burn was pretty straight but I did have to relight a couple of times after which tar intensified and kicked my butt. A definite high medium to low strong, this cigar should ideally follow a good meal. Spice was there but not like the Centurion or Cabaiguan. Complexity in flavor - started spicy and nutty then on the middle morphed to a sweet anise-like leather. Very nice. Spice was much more muted so if you like just a bit of pepper but not too much, this cigar is for you.

"Time rewards"
This benefits from aging in the humi. Full bodied and filled with spices with earthiness and some toast. Burns and draws well. Flavors build up towards the band but keeps tempered. Recommended try.

"Another good San Cristobal"
Another nice looking San Cristobal. Places about third in the line for me. The last of the line for me, I'd rate it behind the Guajiro and the Monumento.

"expecting more"
I had a high expectations after reading other reviews. Good for first couple of puffs - full body from the start, nice burn. But I was expecting more from the cigar, flavor didn't impress me, it stay the same all time, it wasn't complex and didn't culminate in the last third as I was hoping for. Probably needs more time in humidor. I am not buyng a box, I rather spend money on PAM.

"Just like any other pepin....Great"
I was very impressed with this cigar just like i am every cigar pepin blends. I tried the monumento and was as equally happy with that one as well. I feel this is the better size of the cigar because the body shows more of the flavor. Ashton and Pepin hit it big with this one.

"Just another cigar made in heaven"
OK - check my pathetic reviews of the Monumento, the Clasico and the Guajiro and tone them down a bit for this one...great potential here for aging, near perfect flavor profile for me (dark, rich, chocolate, espresso with a floral backnote), excellent burn. Wonderful in all respects.

"What a few more can do."
I have had a few more supremos and I am sold. Maybe the consistency is not as top notch as some Pepins, but very full bodied and complex. I will be getting a box, but probably of the torps.

"Uhhhhhhh......"
I was impressed w/ the flavor on this smoke, but when trying to nail the flavor down, I got it. It taste like a Pepin. Nothing really separated this smoke from some of his lesser Nic blends. I love the Pepin blends, but at 10 a stick I will have to wait to jump on a box purchase. Maybe w/ time these will improve, but I like the Pepin Blues and JJ for the money. Only had one, so may try another before the final verdict is out on these. For now, I give it a 7.5/10.
