This lonsdale is often overlooked for the Sancho Panza Belicoso. This is a fabulous cigars. Deep rich flavors and a long spicy finish.

"Good"
A very tasty cigar. This 6 3/8" x 40 lonsdale with box code HKU OCT03 comes enrobed in a brown wrapper with a reddish-hue and minimal veins. A triple cap and barnyard aroma belie its Cuban origins. Excellent construction without soft spots. Easy light. Smooth draw. Even burn without the need for relights or corrections. Gray-black flaky ash. White smoke. It started with spice, white pepper, and wood. The first third brought both woody and woodsy notes with pepper, leather, and cocoa, as well as a fleeting hint of lemon zest. The tannic quality suggested this was a fairly recent production. The middle third brought mild earth and cream on a backdrop of wood, with notes of toasted tobacco and a slight floral quality. The last third saw a continuance of the woody core with sweet leather and a mild tangy flavor. All in all, this medium-to-full bodied 1 hour 20 minute smoke was enjoyable. Paired with rum.

"Same sentiments"
I had the same experience as most of those below. A very good cigar that employs a nice amount of strength and body with an enjoyable leathery/spice taste. Small drawback was a tight draw on the first 1/2 of the cigar.

"Nice ..."
Smoked a couple of these recently and liked them. Medium body, compex flavors ... not bad at all. Draw was just tight enough to be annoying .. were stored at 65% for several months.

"Earthy"
Nice earthy and leather flavors, perfect burn with a just slightly tight draw. Nice mild to medium bodied cigar, perfect before dinner smoke.

"I like the Lonsdales"
Call me a sucker, but this shape rings the bell for me. Long and slender, the rich leathery flavor remains strong and focused.
