"Wonderful value smoke"
A spicey little number. Had a nice spicey taste that stuck around for most of the cigar. First ash held on unusually long almost to the half way point. Constrction was great. Not usually what I go for in flavor but it was actually very enjoyable in this cigar.

"Full bodied value"
I'm well into a box of these. They are consistently well made, somewhat rough looking, and only an occasional burn problem that's easily corrected. A good spicy cigar with cedar, and I swear a taste of vanilla sometimes. Aroma is great, and not as one dimensional as some reviews state.

"powerhouse"
aged 25 months-appearance--rustic looking with some thick veins.uneven color.-construction--construction was great.perfect draw and burn-flavor--spice bomb.very peppery with notes of cedar.just alot of spicy full bodiedness.even after 25 months of aging this one has not tamed very much if at all.-value--one of the best values to be had anywhere.-overall--im always impressed with this one great flavor and value for your money.

"Great full bodied cigar"
Sancho Panza makes some great cigar at prices that can't be beat. This was the first Xtra Fuerte I had. The cigar had a nice, easy draw and an even burn to it. Produced lots of smoke. It had a nutty flavor, with hints of black licorice. Great cigar at an "everyday smoke" price.

"finally a good smoke at a good price"
this about the best priced smoke for quality that youll find any where.it starts off nutty.then mellows into a hint of black licorice.it has just the right amount of spice.when i first tried them they were a little green but with about 15 months of age there much better.there a very nice short smoke.im gonna have to try the other sizes in the line definetly.

"A decent Sancho Panza"
I like almost all Sancho Panzas, but this one didn't impress me at all. Not a bad cigar by any means, but not that great either, although the asking price is quite cheap.

"Immense Value"
I pay anywhere from $3.38 retail to $1.80 through JR for these. They are very under-rated as has been said many times. Can be rough around the cap and once in a while will burn un-evenly, but the box press is always beautiful, the EMS is a rich golden red/brown, and with minimal aging a little tooth comes out. These have a beautiful aroma which only hints at the full, sweet taste. Fruity flavors with hints of florals and spice and TONS of rich, milky smoke. A nice firm ash. Absolutely do not miss this cigar.

"Very Good Cheap Smoke"
Just bought a box and had my first with a vodka/kahlua with a splash of frangelico. Boy, what a great cigar, and what a great drink to go with it. It burned evenly, with a perfect draw. This has got to be one of the best bargain cigars in the world. It tasted great, rather one dimensional, but great for a quick 1/2 hour smoke. It was pretty strong, leathery and woody with coffee and chocolate notes. Not very complex, but well worth it.

"Great Full Strength Cigar"
For the serious cigar smoker, this one is way under-rated! Great flavor, respectable strength, and a pleasure to smoke. I have grown to really like them, and normally smoke one per evening after work.

"Complete flavor package"
This one surprised me because of my underwhelming experience with the robusto from this line. As usual for a Sancho, it was well constructed, though the burn started to get a bit uneven toward the end. The flavors were robust and nicely balance. But what really blew me away was the aroma--It smelled fully and cedary with a really terrific sweet floral undertone that strengthened to the dominant scent as by the end. Very interesting.

"Spicy and cheap"
A dark, streaky, and slightly pressed corona. The burn is somewhat inconsistant and uneven and requires an occasional correction and/or relight, but it has a good draw. It's toasty and woody with plenty of red peppery spice that turns into hot cinnamon. Don't underestimate these as a buzz can sneak up on you at the end. Very good for a sub-$3 smoke.

"Great value"
This little stick is a great value. Excellent burn and draw with a good pop. Much overlooked for its quality and taste I think. Never had a bad one and keep them on hand. One of the really consistant smokes out there...

"Hearty"
Nice little stick. Starts out spicy and then mellows into a strong, but not overpowering smoke with woody elements. This could be the unruly younger brother of a Padron 1964 -- not as sophisticated, not as smooth, but similar (and a helluva lot cheaper.) Burned a little uneven, but self corrected, with a good volume of smoke and easy draw. Overall a satisfying 30-45 minute smoke.

"full-flavored great buy"
Great pre-light scent. Well-rolled, but caps are a bit weak. Lots of smoke, lots of flavor. Spicy taste on the tongue but not on the throat. Especially good after a fine meal. The cordobas I got seemed a bit "young" on arrival and might be more the ligero elements than anything else. Put in the humidor a couple of weeks or so to even out. Burn occasionally irregular but self-correcting. Well-behaved ash. Have smoked almost a box and will get more for everyday use. Prefer the barcelona size but the evenings are getting colder here so need the smaller size!!! This is a great full-flavored smoke that seems to go well with almost any drinks. The spicy taste might throw a few people for a loop, but I love it.

"Quite nice"
A nice looking smaller cigar that provides lots of flavor. Burned a bit crooked but the draw was good.

"Because of a rating"
I went to pick up a Punch Rothschild and they were out. Picked one of these up b/c there was an ad with a respected magazines rating of 91 in front of the box. And did it live up to the rating! Nice mellow tast with a spicy aftertaste. Good buzz, not overpowering (just after a meal). Most impressed with the even burn and ash. The ash only fell off ONCE before I finished the cigar. Overall great smoke at an affordable price.

"Not for the faint of heart"
Hate to review on only 1 stick - but based on the one I had, this is a powerhouse of a cigar. Pair it maybe with Guiness or Cabernet or Port and make sure you've had a meal. The one I smoked was as strong as an Opus X or an H. Upmann No. 2 or an Ashton VSG. Now am not saying this $3 stick matches them in elegance or refinement, but it is one helluva a cigar and I will next be trying the Madrid based on the ratings read here.

"Nice small cigar"
Not being a regular smoker of smaller cigars, I have to say this is the best one I've had. Nice buzz factor, nice flavor, woody and at the same time creamy. I'd say full-bodied. Will be stocking up on these for those moments when I want a smoke but don't have Churchill time. Could come down a bit in price, though it is still a bargain.

"Hot as a Pistol"
Construction was excellent. I can get very used to box pressing. While I did not find the taste harsh, this is certainly a strong cigar. I made the mistake of smoking one between meals and it nearly floored me. Burn was decent, once things got started. Very good value.

"Powerful."
The first one I had of these sat for about 3-4 weeks with no cello in my humidor, and I was a bit disappointed. It was flat, somewhat tasteless and boring until the sledgehammer last 2-2.5" where it came on strong and oaky. Given the good price, I tried another, and smoked it with only 1 day in the humidor to stabilize it. WOW what a difference. The start was robustly oaky and sweet, and it developed alternating overtones of coffee, cocoa and leathery bits overlaying a base of oaky tobacco. I expected harshness or bitterness, but this was absolutely nowhere to be found. The finish was even stronger than before, and knocked me on my butt for quite a while (even though I smoked it after a big meal). My recommendation is to store them in the cello, and take them out only a couple of days before smoking...the tobacco is cured well enough already to smoke immediately...but loses strength quickly in the humidor.

"Good value"
Tasty, powerful little smoke. I wish it wasn't boxpressed but otherwise a very good value cigar with good strenght and very good flavor.

"Perfect balance of flavor and strength"
After leaving these sit for several months, the were smooth and mellow while packed with tons of yummy peppery spicy flavors. For the money, this is the best everyday choice.

"Odd Duck"
I have to admit that my impression of this one is based on having tried just one cigar. Even compared to the other sizes of this line, this seemed...well, weird. I wasn't prejudiced by the square shape, but the stick felt really insubstantial, even compared to the smaller Pamplona. As for taste--there wasn't any. It was just harsh. I really wanted to like this cigar, but it didn't happen.

"Good price, below average smoke"
I've had 12 of these out of a box and have had mixed reaction. The taste is slightly below average, the burn is consistant but the ash builds in the middle, and yet the smoke feels good in your hand. The price is right, so keep for emergencies and you will not be dissapointed.

A great addition to the Sancho Panza line. Full bodied cigar with a smooth taste. Starts poorly but after the first 1/4 turns into one great cigar.

"good little cigar"
You should try this one if your looking for a 30-45 min. smoke that you can have before eating that won't get too much buzz. Flavorfull and slightly harsh but I'm sure it well settlle down with even a little aging. If the La Flor Dominica double ligero was too much but you liked the flavor, try this one.

"Good, but....."
Good little cigar. However, the first half was dull...and the second half was very good. This is too small a format for this blend of tobacco. I have not tried the larger ones. However, good value.

"Great corona"
SP has alway been a favorite of mine. Love the Cuban brand as well. This corona is a power house for sure but has depth that will improve with some time.
