"spicy firecracker"
Just like everyone else, I highly recommend these spicy little suckers. Superior flavor, full bodied, but not over powering. And the price ... simply ridiculous in a good way.

"Love them"
Even if they were 3 times the price they would still be deal, as good if not better than lots of big name cigars. Im on my 10th box and plan to buy more. A GREAT smoke.

"Please do not change a thing!"
I picked up a few of these at my local shop a few days ago and since then have not pulled anything else out of my cabinet. While I may have some minor construction (cap) complaints on the Double Maduro, no such issues here. Great build and draw with knockout wrapper. Profuse flavorful smoke, with low resting smoke. Beautiful burn -- even clumsy lights straighten out quickly and I've had no canoeing on any I have smoked thus far. Strong but smooth burnt cocoa/espresso with a hint of pumpernickel left in the toaster for a few seconds after the ding, and just the right amount of pepper on the finish (for me). Not complex, but consider what you are paying!! I'll be buying these by the box(es) as long as they don't change a thing.

"Spicey Volcano"
This is the second of the Extra Fuerte line that I tried. Attractive prelight construction. Pleasent aroma. The cut....dissapointing. This is my third Sancho Panza and the damned cap came off....again. Draw was easy. Upon light up it was a powerful blast of spice and pepper. I could tast the pepper even on the underside of my tounge. Burn is consistent and even. Flavor is full and filling. Smoke is plentiful and somewhat sweet. A strong fistful of beefy spice. Not complex but totally enjoyable. Would go well with a steak sub and beverage.

"Spice little devil"
For a small smoke this one packed! Flavor that is and lots of it. Wonder why I haven't tried these sooner. Good construction and burn, spice and zippy, nice easy draw and good burn. Note to self buy more.

"Solid Sancho Panza"
Solid, if not spectacular cigar, with distinct mellow Sancho Panza taste and a lot of smoke. The draw was very nice, and the cigar itself looked impressive.

"Very good for price"
Good looking and tasting cigar but I had to relight several times to keep it lit. This was the first one in the box so I'll try another one later on to see if this is an anomaly. Easy draw from first to last puff. I'm used to milder cigar so this one kicked me several times but I enjoyed it thoroughly. Highly recommend for budget smokers.

"Nice N' Spicy box pressed beaut."
I have to agree with other reviewers that this stick needs some humi time. But after a rest, they become a potent, peppery delight. A strange, grassy prelight aroma gives way to a flavorful spicy tobacco. Great construction, perfect burn, and an ash that'll last half the cigar. Very good for the $$!

"Not bad"
A smooth full bodied cigar. Good draw, great construction, but awful ash and burn.

"Pretty good"
I let this set for a little over a year and, by the remarks made in some other reviews, I'm glad I did. This is a decent looking, box pressed cigar. The flavor started chocolate.spice.earth and picked up a sweet tone an inch or so in. The power stepped up a little past the halfway point, but I would never call it full-bodied. Also about the halfway point, a more pronounced tobacco flavor started taking over. Burn and draw were great. For the price, this is a good smoke.

"Decent cigar, but not my thing..."
Well constructed stick with a nice, tight ash. Slightly strong smoke aroma and a straight-forward tobacco taste. These are obviously not made for their depth of flavor, which was a turn-off for me. It usually takes a 6"+ stick to get a buzz going, but this one came in under that. Complexity of flavor is definately substituted for strength in this one.
If you like a unmodified, unblended tobacco taste, this is the stick for you. Nice looking wrapper, by the way.

"OK but won't get again"
I tried the SP Maduro before, and didn't like it. Very bland. This one is somewhat better...a bit stronger, more peppery taste, but still, this is sub-par cigar. Very one-dimensional, nothing really stand out other than the peppery taste, and it starts getting bitter 1/2 way down. Wrapper is a little stingy if you like that.
Burn and draw are excellent however. I'm just not generally a big fan of Honduran smokes...there's just something about them I don't like, and this is about as Honduran as it gets.
Not the worst I've ever had by far, but there's better out there even at this low price. If you like stronger smokes and try aging this one, you might like it. This one definitely would improve with age I would suspect.

"Elizabeth, I'm a coming"
They weren't kidding when they named this sucker were they. I'm a big fan of SPs but this was my first Xtra Fuerte. It was a very attractive and well constructed, firm and dense. I smoked the whole thing primarily becuase it was suchh a satisfying technical experience, and I appreciate a well put together stick at least as much as I appreciate one with great flavor. Still, it was a real bull in a china shop, big imposing uber tobacco flavor with little that I could detect in the way of other notes. I'm going to age a couple of these for a while and see how I feel after that.

"Needs time but worth the wait"
When I first got a box of these little square bustos, they were a bit harsh; tasty but with too much edge. After a year, they've come around, with a good even burn, easy draw and producing loads of spicy, rich, sungrown sweet full-flavored smoke. At about $45 for a box, they're full-valued as well.

"No flavour"
Beautiful appearance. Smooth draw. Nice even burn. Peppery all right, but has absolutely no flavour. Just a one dimensional, medium strong smoke.

"Spicy but flavor filled"
Nice short smoke that I actually like better than the DMs...spicy, but with a nice flavor I can't quite put my finger on. Will try a couple more.

"spicy lil bomb"
spicy peppery taste at first and smoothes out as you go along, slightly dark cloying flavor nuances but with strength and a little kick to it. An excellent smoke anytime.

"Spicey little devil"
If you like a stronger, spicey, stick (like me) you'll not be disappointed in this line. Lots of smoke and great taste and aroma. I dinged it a little on contruction as it was a loose roll and spongey at the end.

"Nice flavor, but big buzz at the end"
Pressed and oily, with a rich, dark-brown color, this cigar looks good. It has a good draw but the burn was inconsistent and needed retouching. I loved the first 2/3 of this cigar. Many flavors are present: cocoa, wood, earth, pepper, all subtle and balanced and medium in body. Maybe this is going too far, but the flavor taken together with the shape and color reminded me of a Padron Anniversary. I was ready to give this cigar extremely high marks but at the band the burn started to peter out and it became very strong, even a bit harsh, resulting in an "extra fuerte" buzz as described by most of the other reviewers. An excellent value.

"Prefer the regular Sanchos....."
I missed out on what flavors were there, due to the boldness of the smoke. Maybe a little time in the humi will bring them around a bit.

Little strong for my taste. Nice burn though and good draw. Just a little too much bite for my taste but if that's your thing you should try one.

"Some kick"
It had quite a kick for such small stick. Draw was a bit easy, but nothing to complain about. I get a bit of a buzz everytime I smoke one. I'm thru half of a box ,plus a few samples I picked up at the local shop. I think overall their a good value..

"Another good Sancho Fuerte"
The burn on this cigar is typical of all the Sanchos I have tried....excellent. Flavor is also typical of the Fuerte line, with remorselessly oaky tones and a slightly harsh start. Where this one diverged was having a cocoa/coffee/char overtones compared to the Cordoba's sweetness. As with the other Fuerte cigars, do not store this one without cello or you will end up with something very medium in flavor and decidedly not too interesting. Excellent value, although I prefer the Cordoba.

"Cheap, but not on taste"
Man, this little cigar kicked my butt even after a huge meal! Quite strong, but tasty. Hints of chocolate, coffee, and spice. Draw was a bit too free and the burn was hot and fast. But it delivered some good taste and spice for such a cheap cigar. Got a few more I will let age for a while. Would buy these again.

"Fifty-Fifty"
Tried this twice, because I was considering buying a box and wanted to be sure of it. The first one, which came from a sampler pack, was really nice. Construction and burn were fine, and the taste was quite good. The cigar had a unique flavor something like a red wine. I was all set to give them some serious humidor space when I tried the second one. That one came from the same tobacconist's, but from an open box. This time, the flavor was like wet hay from a horse stall. Will the real Pamplona please stand up?

"O.K."
Dark brown wrapper with small veins. Fairly loose in the construction. Quick burn and hot draw (this was properly stored, as well). Started with strong pepper and spice and settled into woody notes about 1/3-1/2 way through. White, flaky ash. Finished strong. Nice little cigar if you don't have a lot of time, but perhaps needs to age a little while longer.

"Not bad at all..."
I had this cigar after a failed attempt to save a tight cigar. I'm not sure if the fact that this smoke was eaiser to draw had an effect on how much I enjoyed it, but damn was it tasty. Spicy at the start, but calmed down after 1/3 or so was gone. Had to relight once or twice and the burn was a bit uneven (but fixed itself). All in all, worth the money, as I will buy more in the future. Oh,and by the way: "Extra Fuerte" is an honest name, so do yourself a favor and eat well before the smoke.

You might as well give a buddy a 9 iron and let him hit you in the sack. These cigars will bend you double if you haven't eaten. Lots of ligero and a smooth coating make them a winner in my book.

A bit rough at first but smooths out after a minute or two. Great smoke for the money.

"Best $3.25 I have spent in a while!"
Starts off a little spicy. Mellows out in the middle. Burn was pretty uneven in the beginning but with some touch ups evened off in the middle. Some similar tastes of the anejo cigars. Definitely worth a try!
