"Definite improvement but...."
still not what you'd like to have in a cigar. For the money and over a year aging, I still have 18 I don't want to smoke (I'll pass em out and brag about the age to infrequent smokers HA HA). There was a remarked improvement at 6 months and a slight improvement from that at 1 year, but as I write this today, still have a bite assoc. with a fresh rolled cigar. The taste is great off the bat, but becomes alkaline and bitter toward the middle. The ash burns true but proves to be too flaky and goes all over the place if you try to smoke them in a car, etc. I think these may be medium filler or even short as indicative in "fumas" cigars. Aging these, you will get a great taste for the price paid, no doubt. In summary, "close but no cigar" but excellent value if you have patience. The high flavor rating is based on the first 1/3rd stick.

"Hoping for improvement"
Purchased a box of 25 to take up room in my humidor. After bringing to proper humidity a buddy and I tried them. Horrible, his kept going out and I kept noting that "fresh rolled" taste. I've heard that a couple months aging should improve the taste dramatically, will advise if any improvement then.
