A terrific cigar bought as a "closeout special" from JR. They have since brought them back and I bought 4 boxes. Better than many "expensive" cigars I've smoked

This cigar has apparently been closed out as JR Tobacco and others have dropped them after selling out their inventories. Originally priced at $175.00/box, I couldn't believe the quality of this cigar when I was able to find them for $25.00/box at JR. A

"Oh My God"
I paid $1 each, but they should have paid me to smoke them. The flavor is flat and uninspired and what little there is is overpowered by the harshness. Ick.

"Not bad (reserva"
When first bought thought it would be a nice cigar to hand out at poker night, ect. Tried on right away and was not impressed at all. At a party of mine approx a month later, I passed a couple out. One of my friends said that it was a pretty good cigar and what was it. A little confused I had to try one and I was shocked the cigar lost its "green grass" tast and became quite pleasant. It was a bit mild, but still had good flavor, burn was just okay (not bad at all). All in All a good cigar, great when you consider the price.

"You get what you paid for"
Not a bad cigar. I think this cigar is great for someone on a budget or to pass out to your friends at a poker game, etc. The main concern was that the cigar lacked flavor. In addition, I found the cigar to be light and the draw to be loose.

"it is a $1 cigar"

"Avoid"
JR Cigars special at $1 each. You get what you pay for. Somewhat soft construction. Slow even burn, but draw was too firm and flavor was bland and slightly vegetal. Strength is mild/medium. Have smoked 3 hoping for improvement.

"Buy A Box"
Surprised. I figured people were giving good reviews because these things are a buck a piece, but I think its just becasue they are damn good. Great Flavor, Solid construction. The burn was good, not perfect, but nothing a relight to one side couldn't fix. Great, I repaeat, GREAT deal. Even if these were priced at $4.00 a stick, I'd still come back for more, but at a $1 a stick, it's a steal. They'll be regulars in the Humidor.

"great taste"
I tried at least twenty other brands priced around $4 and under, but think the Tabantilla Torero and Figurado madruo are just as good or better than the others. Can't go wrong with these from JR's.
