"Great looking cigar"
Great looks, and good taste, but flawed by uneven draw and need for constant touch ups.

"Awsome stick"
This is one powerhouse of a smoke. Nice and spicy at first mellowing slightly towards the end. I wouls sugest dry boxing these a day so or else it might be a tight draw for some.

"Dont believe the hype"
Picked up this cigar only because of the hype, the appearance alone is comparable to a dog rocket.

Tried 3 cigars in a row - all of them with impossible draw. Felt sorry for the BM employee and didnt ask for fourth. What I got from the last cigar was nothing, very simple, medium and almost no flavor whatsoever. All this, combined with the very poor quality of the cigars made this one awful purchase.

"Wow"
I had one sitting in my humidor for about 4 months and last night i decided to go for it. It started out strong, but quickly mellowed into a smooth, medium bodied, well balanced cigar. This was one of the best tasting cigars I have ever smoked. It burned evenly, and I smoked it to the nub. I want more.

"Your standard Cazadores"
your standard cazadores... or is it? take your standards cuban cazadores and add some nicaraguan leathery pepper spice. an intentional harshness to the cigar is the very reason why you choose to smoke this cigar.

loose draw w/ some uneven burn, had to pinch down on a few of these (smoked through a box)... when they're good, they're GOOD. great after a heavy/greasy meal.

"Another good one from Tatuaje!!!"
I would never have picked this cigar up had I not overheard on of the employee's at the humidor telling another customer that this is Pete's cigar of choice in the Tatuaje line, and that there are only a few shops in the country that he sends these out too. So, I bought one, and began smoking it, and it was plugged up pretty bad, but the employee at the shop gave me another one and I didnt even ask for it. It had a beautiful dark wrapper and great band presentation, at least I think the bands on the tat's are stylish. It had a grey stacked ash that was decently sturdy and the smoke was thick and flavorful. The draw was a tad loose, but not bad, and it certainly beat the first one that I bought. The burn was nice and even through the entire smoke. It had a nice mellow earthy core through the first two-thirds, and subtle hints of bitter chocolate. The last two inches took on a woody taste that was really enjoyable. This cigar was very cuban-like in my opinion, but not something I would recomend for a beginner. It was full-bodied, and sometimes the bitter taste doesnt go over real well with someone who hasnt smoked much. I had about two puffs of harshness through the entire thing, and was definately impressed. I bought another one of these to hold back for a while, but I would definately recomend this smoke to someone who's been smoking for a while. You really cant go wrong. Another good one from Tatuaje!

"Muy Fuerte"
While not entirely familiar with strong smokes, I've had a few, and still working on it. This tat seemed extremely heavy to me, although, I was on an empty stomach. Stronger than the OpusX Power Ranger and Pepin Blue Labels I am used to. Very rich...solid notes of coffee/spice/cocoa throughout, although varying in amount of each. Hints of pepper also, at times.

"a little young, perhaps?"
Started with an odd vegetal note that faded after an inch or so. Flavor isn't as leathery as other sizes in the line. These have a darker, heavier flavor profile with coffee grounds, nuts and cola on the finish. Loads of cocoa on the final third. Reminded me of a really good Padron. Well above average, but it's a tick below other Tats in the balance department.

"part II"
The last time I had one of these was 3 months ago. I think they are aging slowly (they are wet packed like cuban cazadores) but they are still much better. The burn is completly even now. Just as strong as the day I got them. Loads of black and white pepper on the palate. A punchy powerful little stick. A woody finish that is nice and long. This may be one of the best vitolas tatuaje has to offer. Extremly cuban-esque. Buy as many as you can when they are around.

"Absolutely wonderful cigar!"
The Tatuaje Havana Cazadores is an absolutely wonderful cigar. The taste and aroma reminds me of an well-aged Cuban Montecristo No. 1 that I enjoyed several years ago while on an assignment in Havana. The cigar is beautifully crafted and has a firm, yet pleasant draw. Tatuaje cigars are not easy to find, but they are well worth the effort and money.
