"Better than Havana series"
Firm, rugged looking stick, slightly oily with a few minor veins; excellent burn, ashed easily every inch, tough draw. Medium/full body with slowly building strength. First third flavor of nutty tobacco and some spice that picked up near midstick; second third became more complex, with bread & meaty notes like chargrilled steak, ending with some nice pepper & earth. Nubbed it!

"Always a good smoke"
This is a great smoke. Has a good draw as well as a good smoking duration since this is a little smaller than that traditional coronas. The smoke is so good that when I get down to the nub, I poked a paper clip to keep this cigar going. Luckily I got many more in my humidor. High recommended for new cigar smokers as well as "older" cigar smokers.

"NOW THIS IS A EVERYDAY GO TO"
The aroma, the smoke, the draw, and construction make this one of the best cigars you will ever smoke. With this size you will taste all the fine delicious tobacco Tatuaje is know for. This is a must for the humidor

"better aged"
I let this one rest for 2 months and it was awesome . I could smoke these cigars every day. It seems this size has more of a spicy taste than the robusto (less air pulled I guess). This line is slowly becomeing my fav cigar.

"not that great..."
Humm, judging from previous reviews I must've gotten a dud. Mine was a good cigar, but i wouldn't give it a 8. Construction was not great, but I didn't have any draw issues.

"Firecracker of a smoke"
A bit smaller than traditional coronas, this little cigar has nice wrapper color and a good cap. No. 9 in Cigar Aficionado's top 25 cigars of 2006. It smokes decently with a good draw and slightly uneven burn although it does feel light in your hands and the ash is weak and will fall off at any time. Overwhelmingly spicy at first, it balances out to show a full range of leather, pepper, and cream flavors that leave a long and spicy aftertaste. The bigger Tatuajes can be too much to handle so this smaller one is a good place to start.

"A Great Smoke"
A very nice cigar. I bought a few of these a year ago and rated one fresh from the store. This is just a follow-up to report that after a year, it still smokes very well. It has mellowed a little from what I remember of it, but it still bold and full-flavored. Overall, a great cigar.

"An odd experience"
I bought a box of these after trying several other cabinet Tatuajes. These came a little dry but perfectly smokeable. Better dry than wet. This cigar came with a very Cuban flavor profile similar to a Montecristo #1. The first inch of this cigar was as good as it got. After that It was constantly going out. This completely marred any decent flavor this cigar had. I will be aging these cigars but seeing as how they were already a little dry I can't see how bringing them up to humidity will help too much.

"Very Monte-like"
I find these to be similar to a Cuban Montecristo. Smooth and earthy with hints of sweetness and spice. Great construction.

"Wow"
I got this one in Oceanside, Ca. at the Cigar Grotto, for one this cigar had plume on it (what a nice surprise) and the taste was smooth the burn was straight and I kept admiring the construction of the stick, it is my current favorite but I just wish the price was more reasonable.

"Tatuaje is still incredible"
I agree with a lot of the guys on here: you really must let Tatuajes rest for at least three weeks before smoking. Otherwise you'll be wasting a great cigar. I've gone through a couple boxes of these dudes and am a better person for it. The aromas, clouding, draw, construction, look, everything... fabulous. A good Noella to me blows away just about any cigar out there, including the Cubans I've smoked (Cohibas, Partagas, Romeos, et al). If I have to pick a box to buy, it usually comes down to these or the Padron 6000s.

"Nice Surprise"
I have tried a few of these from a local B&M and have found them to be quite good. The taste reminds me of a PAM Principe minus the earthy taste of the Padron. Pefect burn with a very white ash, even a triple cap for effect. All in all a good smoke especially if you can find them cheaper than the 7.50 I paid retail.

"Full flavored smoke"
First off the construction on these are top-tier, with triple cap. The burn is excellent as well, producing tons of smoke. Flavor is full, with expresso, cedar. For the price, the construction is definitely there, but taste wise you can find better value.

"suprise"
Had one of these last night. I was really impressed for something right out of the box. Very spicey with some coffee / espresso notes. I have not read anything about where they get their tobacco but, I am curious because it is not often I see a cigar burn with an ash this white. My advice would be to buy a box and let it sit for awhile if you are disiplined enough to lay off of them. You can tell this is a cigar that has even greater potential, could possibly turn into a classic.

"Nice Little Powerhouse"
Immediate spice just grabs you and the cigar never lets down the whole while. Burns well and lasts nicely for a cigar this small, and delivers plenty of whallop. The aroma is complex and flavors are deep cocoa. Think it's a tad fuller than Padilla 8/11's but I also need to put these down for a slumber. Still a bit young and it smoked a little harsh at the end.

"Smooth Smoke"
Kind of pricey but worth the cost. This is a very smooth smoke having sat in the humidor for at least three months. Lots of flavor, cedar and spice. Great burn and construction.

"Pretty good"
This was an ok smoke, but not the standout I had hoped. I think over-production issues may be starting to become a problem for this brand. This one was noticeably under filled and drew way too loose. The flavors were nice and included coffee, leather and some spice, but not nearly as Cuban-esque as the ones I've had over the last couple years. I bought four of these and will let the others age for a while before I fire up another. However I'm afraid that the recent surge in popularity has taken its toll on these smokes.

"great PC second only to cubans..."
The only non-cuban PC's that I can even put in the same category as this smoke would be the Padron 1926 35's, and ADC's PC. Would agree with all other reviews though when it comes to aging... Very seldomly will you find a Tatuaje that smokes great fresh out of the shop. They need to even out for a month or two in a humidor before even thinking about smoking them. Some might find this a pain, put there a plenty of smokes that just don't age well. Great full bodied smoke, and well worth the wait

"A fantastic smoke in every way."
Had a minor burn issue, but it was easily corrected. This smelled and tasted great. A great cigar. My only complaint is that I wish they were cheaper so that I could smoke them more often. This was great even compared to the many cubans I've tried.

"Great Potential"
I agree with Luckystar and bitstream. Strong cigars and reminded me of padron anniversaries. Bought one at a local shop and only in humidor less than a week. Need time to sit. Great potential but they do need time to age. Also, I agree with bitstream's comparision to the hemingway tatste being very smooth but richer tasting. Never got bitter but gave me a buzz. I will buy some and let them rest.

"Age these firecrackers"
Got a box and they are in need of a long term sleep in the box. Very strong and on the young side. I really like this brand and am sure these will turn out great but they arn't ready to smoke. Just make sure you get some that have been sitting awhile if you want to smoke them right away.

"Tasty!"
This brand is hard to find and it's no surprise why. They're rolled in the USA in Little Havana and American labor doesn't come cheap. From what I have read, they only produce 30000-50000 sticks per year. If you can find these, do yourself a favor and try one.
One thing I will say is that the price is reasonable considering where these are made. Further, I'm pleased to say that these are top quality smokes, rolled by people who know what they are doing. The construction is fabulous and the tobacco within is equally excellent.
This is a medium-to-full bodied smoke that burns well, produces a nice aroma, and tastes great. Imagine a Fuente Hemingway, but smoother and a little richer... and you'll have a Tatuaje! (Pronounced TA-TOO-WAH-HAY)
Overall, this is a pleasant surprise and it's no shock why these score in the low 90's in Cigar Aficianado.
