"2nd one not much better"
I previously reviewed this a year ago. A full year in the humi has helped the flavor but not the draw - still tight, though a bit looser towards the middle then it developed burn issues halfway through. I relit once and then when I needed to again I just chucked it. I will not buy these again.

"A pleasant stick with some burn issues"
Very nice looking stick, very good flavor. Went from perfect burn and draw to tight draw and irregular burn. Reverted to original form for the end.

"Could have used more color"
...in this tattoo. Solid feel, nice looking cigar, with a smooth wrapper that felt a bit like suede and 1 or 2 minor veins. Cap came off cleanly & the cigar lit well, maintaining a good burn but required 1 touch-up. Just enough pull on the draw, put out tons of creamy-feeling smoke. After starting out with a pepper bite, the cigar settled down into a consistent nutty & leather flavor. Not much complexity although there was an earthy mineral-like taste near the end. Medium body, med/full strength, with a long finish and a mild tobacco aftertaste.

"First ever review"
The look of this cigar is flawless. It is beautifully made, and I almost wanted to keep it in the humi, instead of taking it out to smoke. For the first half, it seemed very one-dimensional. Kept hoping for the flavors to build but it was basically a slight spice with hints of nuttiness. In the second half, the profile broadened a bit, with some cedar and more of the toasty, nutty taste coming through. Burn required a few touch ups but nothing too severe. The spice kicked up more in the last third, but the wrapper was also beginning to unwind a bit. I expected more out of this one after three months in my humidor, but not bad overall....not bad. I will definitely try some of the other DPG smokes. I have smoked a couple of the Cab. Guapos. Enjoyed those much more than this, but this one is pretty good for the money.

"great with Tequila"
After a few months of humi time I enjoyed this cigar with a Cabo Wabo Anejo neat though I'm sure other libations would work. Great tasting cigar. A bit tight and 3 relights were necessary. Wrapper a bit toothy but a beautiful deep dark brown. Flavors ranged from spicy to toast to menthol. Should be experienced by all. Recommended if you can tolerate the relights.

"WOW"
This was another great Pepin creation. I have smoked better but paid an arm and a leg for it. I do not believe a better smoke can be had for the price.

"Very hearty"
A very hearty, full flavored, med-full strength smoke. Nice dark oily wrap. Draw was a little tight, but it opened up at the end. Earth.

"Only time will tell..."
Great little stick. Starts out with a peppery blast then mellow into a nice rich chocolate/carmel flavor. Gets a little leather in the last third and finishs very smooth. A nice med/full body smoke. There were moments that the taste got a little bitter, as though the leaf was too young. I only had it in the humi for six weeks so I am sure time will do this wonders. Have to get pick up a fiver or a box to let them sit a while.

"Fabulous Corona Gorda"
A bit rough looking, seems to come from the same rich stock of Tatuaje tobacco. Chocolatey; balance will definitely improve with humidor time, as will burn.
