"Give to unwanted guests"
Harsh, bitter, pungent stinker. Tasted like smoke from a burning trash pile. Either I got a bad one, or some people like to smoke burning trash. Wouldn't take another for free.

"Okay first half, then PUNT"
Prelight it smells a bit like wet cardboard, and it's a little bit lopsided. Not an attractive cigar. But it lit up easily and the construction was good. The bittersweet taste that is the Te Amo trademark was muted at first, much to my approval. But then the classic Te Amo arose and turned from bittersweet chocolate to acrid. It burned pretty quickly and when the taste went south I tossed it. A decent first half.

"Unique"
This cigar does have the "earthy" flavor in spades. Once it is put aside for about 2 weeks in a well huidified, 70-73%, humidor it does soften and provides a good smoking experience. One caveat, the last quarter could get a little harsh. Good value a jr.

"Change of pace"
An ugly stick w/a rough & tumble wrapper. Medium bodied. Musty & earthy w/some odd flavors. Not unpleasant. Pickling spice? Bit of tingle on the tongue. Ok for a change of pace.
