Closest to an old fashioned havana

When I bought my THH the wrapper was more green than brown. Looked like they had not been aged well. Flavor proved it. Aging improved it. Now the wrappers are brown and wrinkled, but the honduran tobacco is ready to smoke. Nice sweet, pepper and typical Honduran strength. Dark gray ash and OK burn until 2nd half, tends to go out sometimes. Good smoke for the money.

"the Vintage"
Great for the $$. Better than the Vintage Series.

Smoked one of these friends house, after we had been boozing it up pretty good. This really isn’t what I’m used to smoking but in all fairness I decided to give it a try. Not a bad looking cigar, nice light shade wrapper, the wrapper leaves did not have many veins. Very smooth in the fingers. The construction wasn’t the best, a little bit tattered, and I didn’t like how the cap was affixed to the cigar. The draw on this Churchill was good both unlit and lit. The burn was fair, she got a little sideways on me a couple of times. This on did clog a little towards the end, I just cut some more off the end. This one also got hot on me almost half way through. A nice medium bodied strength, it had some leathery flavor to it, not very spicy. My friend said that got the box of 25 for $40.00 about $1.60 each. BOTTOM LINE: Not bad for a cheap cigar, ok taste, not big on flavor, and not for me, I haven’t had much luck with the Thomas Hinds brand.

"Herbal taste"
A light, pleasant cigar with an herbal flavor to it. Went well with the pale ale I had with it.

a good every day smoke value, especially with a nightly latte.

"Nothing special"
Kinda plain in flavor, but did offer some spice especially after the halfway mark.

"Woody"
Not a particulalry attractive stick. Flavor was one-dimensional and woody. A dry, grassy finish. I couldn't smoke it even halfway because I just lost the will. I might light one of these while fishing just to keep the mosquitos away.
