"Standing Ovation"
This was my first Corojo. Loved it. I went on a tear with C-Bid before Christmas, bid on a stack of logs that could potentially keep the house warm for two winters. I expected to lose most of my lots. To the wife’s chagrin, I didn’t. This big Ovation was wonderful. Burn was superb, ash flawless. ASHMAN’s adroit cinnamon and vanilla describes the flavor very well. Terrific cigar. I swapped one of these for a Cuban MC with a buddy. Will have to wait and see who got the better deal.

"Not My Taste"
Upon visual inspection the stick had nice size. Construction was good, yet color was light and lacked sheen. Pre-light aroma was good. Draw was a little on the tight side. Burn was even, yet lacked adequate smoke. If this were all, I could forgive. However, taste was the deciding factor. Taste was average. I can think of four other Corojo cigars I prefer. Each has its own distinct (yet indescribable) flavor. This cigar simply did not stand out. The Ovation lacked personality.

"Aging nicely."
After smoking the Edge Corojo last night the Ovation Corojo seems more medium now. May be the time in the box or just comparing it to the stronger smoke. Flavors evolved from sweet wood to peppery leather with occasional sweetness and clove. Quite a departure from my previous review. Cigars are a constant adventure in taste and characteristics. Enjoy the ride.

"Rich and smooth"
This was a very nice stick. The wrapper had some spots on it but for the most part it was good to go. The cap cut with no end trails and the foot lit very even. The taste was on the medium to full side with rich flavors of wood and some peppery spice on the finish.

"Hotcha"
Hot cinnamon on the tip of the tongue and vanilla on the back. Potent corojo that will age into something special. Don't spend a fortune for the high $ smokes until you try one of these. Only downside were the touch ups. Good draw, average burn and consistent flavor with some complexity will make you glad you tried it.
