Trinidad (D.R.) Petite Robusto Maduro

I love that pigtail cap. It indicated a perfectly constructed and blended cigar inside. Full bodied and almost full strength. Thick, leathery wrapper must be really paid attention to. It's easy to lose the burn. If you can lay off enough this is a great little cigar. Coffee and cocoa predominate. Much better than the toro IMO. Recommended!

Ok, 4 & 1/2 inches is a little stubby, but I draw the line at calling a 54 ring gauge cigar "petit". This cigar was big on everything, flavor, aroma, appearance and did I mention flavor? You could see the oils escaping from this wrapper as it burned, yummmmm. This is a medium bodied gem with a man's - man cigar flavor. Not for the beginner, but most will enjoy it. Smoke it outdoors unless you are single or the wife is out of town....

This is a perfect smoke with a dark beer and an AFC semi-finals game. Fantastic looking dark, oily wrapper (veiny, though) with a cool long pigtail cap. It's a bit of a strange shape for me, short and thick, and a little hard on the jaw. But the flavor is satisfying, big robust and beefy. I burned my fingers trying to keep it going too long.
