This was an enjoyable medium to full bodied smoke; the use of 5 different tobaccos in the filler blend is quite a feat; a good spicy core, with creamy and woody notes. Only drawback was a less than even burn. Recommended.

"A Very Good Discovery"
I don't know if they still make these cigars, but I fished one out of my humidor and it rewarded me with a very pleasant smoking experience. As I hiked around a couple of lakes in West Virginia with the black dogs, I discovered that the V Centennial Churchill is still a tasty stick with a salty, creamy flavor and lots of smoke. When I remember that I paid a little less than two bucks each for these over three years ago I felt like it was a good investment.

"Better than robusto"
I tried this size to see if it made a difference verses the robusto size I had a couple months ago and I have to say it DOES make a difference. It is not spectacular still, but at least the bitterness factor was less and the cigar seemed to hold together much better. The flavor was light, but not unplesant. I'd say that this is ok for a 2 dollar smoke. I would not go and fill up my humidor with them though.

I find this cigar a bargain at less than a dollar. Cigars International is offering them at $45 for a bundle of 50 (not 20 or 25 ... 50 cigars) Looks very much like an Ashton Aged Maduro. Nice roll and draw. A complexity of flavorful, leathery smoke. Traits of cocoa, coffee, nuts and a hint of fruit and toast. Not nearly as smooth as the Ashton, but one should not expect $9 quality at less than a buck. There is a teeny, tiny bit of harshness on the finish at the first quarter, but not nearly enough to ruin a nice smoking experience. About a quarter of the way down, it smooths down, and the afterbite dissipates. If you are looking for a decent to good cigar at a more than fair price, pick up a bundle.

"Oxford Series-Decent Cheap Smoke"
This is a good everyday smoke. Solid construction and decent appearance. Smooth draw, but had a little harsh finish. Can't complain for the price ($1 a piece).

"impressive for the $$$"
My humidor was getting low so I was in the market for a cheap decent everyday smoke....joecigar.com had a great special and I decided to take a chance after reading some good reviews here...30 bucks for 50 cigars for the 7.0 x 50 size and no tax..thats right sixty cents a piece! At that price i wasnt expecting much but was very pleasantly surprised...they have good construction...a nice even burn...good draw...and best of all they taste good...a little spicy just like I like em..plus no bad aftertaste....highly reccomended for the price..much better than the bundles of trinidad y cia and jr. cuban alternatives i picked up a while ago....cheap and good

"The Maduro Version"
I tried this in Maduro. Like Mike, mine was from a 5-pack deal, and they cost a buck apiece. The one I tried was tight as a tree branch but it smoked, with a little help. Yellowed cellophane testified that this guy had been sitting around for quite a long time, and I doubt if a fresher batch would be all that noteworthy, but this wasn't a bad cigar at all. It was mild, with a decent earthy taste helped by some sweetness. It won't make you break into song, but for a buck you can't go wrong.

"midling"
When I first got these I was NOT impressed, but that improved with 6-9 months rest in the humi. Now a smooth mild-medium body with good construdtion (this is the Oxford Series stick)

"A Pleasant Surprise"
A 5-pak bargain from cigarbid.com. A creamy mild-to-medium A.M. delight. Not as complex and flavorful an A.M. smoke as a Don Diego Corona or an Ashton, but quite nice for $1!

"Flavorful"
Mild flavors of cinnamon, vannilla and cedar evolved throughout this smoke. Nice firm construction and a beautiful caramel wrapper. Good morning coffee companion.

"waste of time"
can this ciar get any more boring. I was halfway through it and reading a great book and literally forgot I was smoking a cigar. It burned nice but the flavor was incredibly boring and the experience was more like an excercise in habit than anything else. At least it was free, but it was a complete waste of my time

"Mild but Flavorful"
This is a mild but somewhat flavorful cigar. It might not be in my first tier, but it's good enough not to have to make excuses. I found it had a hint of spice. and a nice aroma. This Churchill had a saltiness at the beginning of the first cigar and in the middle of the 2nd. Some complexity.

"Nope"
Looks good. Good & solid. Medium bodied. There is a bit of a toasted nut flavor here, but this cigar irritates the back of the throat & has a cardboard type aspect in the finish. Two years in the humidor has done nothing for this cigar.

"Golden Brown Beauty"
Loved the creaminess and slight vanilla taste of this cigar. Pretty wrapper, nice aroma, all around great smoke.
