"Fantastic"
Great smoke! Not the typical spice-bomb you expect from Pepin. As always, superb construction. Better cigar than the JJ in my opinion.

"Very good ...But"
I have had 5 of these so far and all but 1 was between very good and great..All have been in my humi about 4 months at 68.4% and about 70ish degrees(+or- 1 to 3 from day to day).anyway the bad one was the 3rd I smoked and it was just bad!!!! the warper fell apart right out of the gate and the draw and flavor was bitter and just nasty...Fired up another one the next day and it was the creamie smooth wonderful gar I was expecting ..So maybe their is some bad ones out there but these are well worth the chance you might have to deal with a odd stinker 1 in 10

"Nice Medium Body Smoke"
I picked up a 10 pack from CI last week. Decided to smoke one today. Nice medium bodied smoke with a sweet floral tobacco taste and a short finish. Reminded me of a Pepin CI legend but not as full. I have to agree with the other reviews in that I had to correct the burn a couple of times, but that was okay because it tasted really good. This is a good cigar to smoke in the morning, after lunch or after a light dinner.

"Perfect everyday smoke"
Mild for a Pepin, but delicious all the same. Starts up a little tannic, with some pepper (but not a lot compared to most Pepin blends) and gradually mellows to creamy cocoa. The last third has that great sweet caramel twang. The burn was off at points, but that's the only demerit I can give it. Maybe not the most interesting or complex Pepin, but for a solid medium bodied cigar this one gets the job done right.

"A great mistake"
This is a great smoke. Got 10 of them on accident. I was splitting a box of Don Pepin Blue labels with a friend of mine and he ordered the wrong box which we still ended up splitting. What a great mistake. These things are great. Starts out with the normal "Pepin Spice" mellows out to a nice smooth buttery chocolate flavor. About a third in the flavor changes pretty dramatically to a nice carmel/toffee flavor. Ends with a nice buttery leather flavor. Very complex. The oils on this are thick left my hands feeling oily after I was done and the aftertastes rested on my mustache. My only complaint is that I had some burn issues, but they corrected themselves for the most part.

"Surprising"
If I closed my eyes I would have thought I was smoking a Cuban Partagas! Smooth with a creamy, sweet spicynes I was impressed with this cigar.
My only complaint was that it remained one dimensional and never really opened up as I hopied it would.
Very good cigar, none the less!
