Victor Sinclair Connecticut Churchill

Good price point so I picked up a box and expected an average cigar for the golf bag or afternoon on the grill. Surprisingly good flavor for a mild Connecticut wrapper, good draw, nice white smoke with big volume, and I will keep buying the VS lines after this cigar.

Wow is this cigar ugly. VS sure puts a nice band combination on it, but underneath is a rough looking cigar. Nonetheless, it's a fine tasting cigar with a good draw. It's not a bad "bang for the buck" stogie.

Just so it's clear, I'm talking about the V.S. Connecticut Yankee. Appearance is only passable, kind of veiny and blotchy, and the burn needs a little touch-up every now and then, but the richness of the smoke, the aroma and delicious taste make the other details pale into insignificance. A smoke not to be missed.
