This is one of the most beautifully constructed cigars I have ever smoked. The flavor was every bit as impressive as the construction.

This was a mild surprise, a fairly new cigar on the market, with almost perfect construction.

"7"
i was pleasantly surprised! It was a better than plain good...at $1.15 ea i'm totally pleased. my lips didn't stain...but of course bad things can happen even with expensive 'gars. i was a tobacco grower for years and i'm here to tell you making consistent, aromatic, prime leaf is an art form at it's peak. If i get a cigar like this that burns well, smells good, changes character some to be interesting, doesn't go out...and under $2 ea, i think it's a pretty good smoke.

"This is a decent cigar"
I disagree with the last review. I don't know if VS has changed the cigar, or what, but that didn't match my experience at all. Wrapper wasn't dyed, didn't stain my lips or fingers, and smoke was plentiful and spicy without being harsh, construction was solid, draw was prefect. Definitely no 'dog rocket'. I got it in a sampler of 22 at an average price of $1.60, not the $8+ others mentioned. Even the full box at CI is only $99 (out of stock), and that's probably the top end of what it's really worth. If you can catch them for anything under $3 you've got a pretty decent value. I did have some burn issues that I had to correct, but I've only had them in the cooler for less than a week.

"What are you smoking?"
This cigar is a disgrace to the industry.
1. The wrapper is not maduro, but dyed black.
2. The tobacco used is second rate garbage.
3. I wouldn't pay $2.00 for this over-hyped second rate cigar. Boring, bitter and messy, this cigar dyed my lips, teeth and fingers. The cigar smoking public is alot smarter today than 10 years ago, "cigar boom" antics will not fly today. Victor better get serious.

"Vic's Best?"
This would be a 10, except you have to get lucky to find it for a good price. I got mine on C-bid, so managed a good deal. Everything about this cigar is flawless. The look, feel, aroma and burn were unblemished. Although 8 bucks is not really THAT bad a price, I always balk at money up in smoke. However, this is one of those times where you forget about the pricetag three puffs into this deep aromatic beauty. If you are a new or old cigar smoker, you owe it to yourself to try a few of these.

"uniquely eccentric"
this would be the only cigar i would smoke if i could afford them on a regular basis. there is nothing on the market to compare it with. it has a unique smooth yet bold flavor, it is full bodied. in line with the carlos torano silver series in strength and a joya de nicaragua in flavor and character. you will love it or hate it. Warning the wrapper is fermented in Sangria and will turn your lips black while smoking it. not to worry it washes off. the aroma is heavenly all women love the smell a must try for full bodied cigar lovers i could go on forever try it almost impossible to find now. happy puffing
