"Size Does Matter"
After smoking the Churchill (giant) of the same make recently, I was looking forward to the same type of cigar. It didn't happen. Yeah there were some good flavors, but I also experienced some bitter tastes and the burn was not good. Not that it was horrible, I was just disappointed after smoking the big brother. Got a couple left, but I'm in no hurry to smoke them.

"Great mild stick"
This stick is still one of my favorites in its price range. White, clean ash burns stright to the end. Mild flavors of nuts will burn to your finger tips. Not a powerhouse, but a great beer in the morning or with a light beer (hopefully not in the morning).

Enjoy for the under 2 buck price tag!

"Well...."
I hoped the time between reviews would have helped. Not so lucky. It tastes the same as it did 8 months ago. Burn is a little better though.

"It found itself!"
I have to eat my own words (tastes like chicken) regarding a review only a week ago on this cigar. The same cigar with maybe another 2 months conditioning became a completely different stick. What made the difference? Time I guess (a similar experience with a recent VS 55 Corojo) is the key but in all honesty I have no idea what would make this big a difference in the same cigar. Quality control at VS? Conditioning? Maybe… In the end it really doesn’t matter…the damn thing tasted GREAT! This is the first time I have been able to see what other reviewers have been so excited about. Medium bodied, smooth, buttery light spice, Great draw, wonderful quantity of smoke, even burn, long gray tight ash, and never needed any attention. What I really enjoyed during the entire smoke was the sweetness both in smoke as well as aftertaste. Very good! The problem now is that I just smoked the last one. Does anyone have at least a 6 month aged Green Label they can loan me? You will be paid back in 6 months after the NEW ones take a little rest.

"Taste is good! Construction?"
After trying the “8 inch monster” I gave the robusto size a whirl. After about 2 months total in the humidor (actually more like 4) the taste was not that much different than its larger brother. I like the taste of this cigar which as described before is very earthy and this time, walnut sweet. Real interesting flavor! Construction issues are still there though. The draw was to tight creating little smoke with out triple puffs and the cigar was hard to keep lit. Again just too much work! I smoke cigars for the taste and to relax. It has the taste but damn, unlike almost all of my other cigars, it’s a lot of trouble. I would have to think twice about buying them again with so many other quality cigars to choose from. I don’t want to be forced into waiting over a year for a $2 dollar cigar to “find itself.”

"Better than expected."
Aside from some burn problems this is a pretty good cigar. Much better than the corojo. If Victor would pay a little more attention to quality this could be a superior smoke. Medium + in body it produces choco, coffee, woody flavors with an underlying sweetness. My preferences would not cause me to seek out this cigar but it makes a nice change of pace.

"disappearing flavor!"
The cigar looks pretty, and although it's not the best constructed smoke ever, it burned straight and held its ash nicely. The problem, really, is the flavor. For the first few puffs, it was delicious--the sweetness of the sun grown wrapper really came through, and there was a mild but pleasantly complex and rich. Lots of smoke. However, the flavor quickly vanished. All that was left was a slightly sweet taste--like smoking cotton candy! Sure the draw was nice and easy, but there simply was no taste. And none developed, even after two-thirds of the cigar was gone. Disappointing.

"Outstanding cigar."
Highly recommended. Four more months of aging has produced an OUTSTANDING cigar in construction and flavor. Mostly a smooth nutty woodsy flavor with something sun grown that's hard to describe other than it's just good. You'll find these mostly mild, sometimes medium, but never boring. Perfect for a lazy morning and a nice cup of coffee. You can nab these on c-bid for a song at $2/ stick.

"Deserves better"
This is not a perfect 10, but it gets close to one from me to offset those who would otherwise steer you away from this cigar. It is a full, yet smooth cigar with woody undertones and a creamy texture to the smoke. Try it with a dark brew and you will see what I mean. You can get these on Cbid for a song.

"Woody and Odd"
Had this one yesterday, and, like all Victor Sinclair products, it did not impress me. Was oddly woody with some sort of "chemical" undertones. Not much smoke, like miguelito said.

"Very nice cigar."
An OK looking Greyish brown sun grown Ecuadorian wrapper. Excellent construction. Mostly smooth, deep flavors of wood, earth, and towards the end something nutty-soapy-spicey that I've never experienced before. I enjoyed the first part more than the last. Although this is a small sized robusto it burned slowly lasting me an hour and 10 minutes. As Smoky in Milwaukee states you should be able to score these cheaply on c-bid for about $2 a stick. I did. At that price a wonderful value. Only negative is the cigar band. Although it's attractive, It tends to get in the way quickly and is tricky to remove. It's no big deal but you'll see what I mean when you try these.

"Yummy!!"
This is a beautifully made and persented cigar. Very nice even burn, excellent draw and a lovely creamy flavor. To me it was nutty and spicy with a bit of cedar in there. It is a little mild but that make it a great morning smoke. I love my first one of the day with coffee, and this one didn't disappoint at all. I recommened this smoke.

"Great cigar"
My palate runs from mid to mid-full taste - this was a little light but otherwise was a great cigar. If you like something like CAO Gold I think you'll love this cigar. Great burn, only a slight, quite pleasant aftertaste. You can get these at CB cheap - i got a 5-pack for 9 bucks. Retail at CI is aroun$3 a stick and I'd say it's well worth it. The only reason I downgraded the flavor is just because it's a little light. If light is your thing then the flavor is an 8 or 9.

"Excellent smoke for around $5"
Construction was impeccable with a smooth lightly veined even toned wrapper. The body of the cigar had a nice rebound when lightly squeezed. Draw on this stick was even and smooth although a little tight (I use a hole punch vice a guillotine which may account for some tighter draw). Smoke was creamy and bright white with great woody and nutty flavors. This was a great cigar complimented by a smooth locally brewed wheat. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys lots of thick rich smoke.

"I saw the light"
Smoked on a lunch break away from the office. Ok mid day smoke. I am a newer cigar smoker who has made the mistake of smoking cigars I shouldn't (lots too strong) so this tasted kinda light. My palate is not terribly discriminating, but I thought it tasted pretty smooth and sort of creamy. No spice at all. Decent mid-day nic buzz. Had a strange greenish tint near the cap after I started smoking it. Draw a little tight. Not quite enough smoke. No other construction issues.

Cigar takes a bit of time to develop creamy and nutty flavors. Aroma not as nice as the Brazilian corojo wrapped model but a real value. Look for deals

"Pricy but worth it"
This was a quality smoke in both construction and taste. Generally medium bodied and smooth with some spice. Nutty at times (the cigar, that is). I was able to get this for less than the MSRP, and considered it a good deal for $5.00
