"A fine, long smoke."
I smoked this one just last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. Early canoeing corrected itself by the end of the first fourth, the draw was perfect, and the flavor and aroma were delightful down to the nub. Sorry to read Suspect's experience. All I can say is that a sub-par stick can pop up in any batch. I've had even Graycliffs and Montecristos that took half a tank of butane in corrections and left my senses of taste and smell disappointed.

"A Let-Down"
This cigar came in a sampler, and after reading up on it I had high expectations. Unfortunately for me, those were not met. The biggest problem was the contruction; the cigar began conoeing immediately, and the draw was plugged. Each puff on it meant 3 or 4 pulls to get the heat up enough again to get any significant amount of smoke out of the 5th puff. The flavor on the other hand wasn't nearly as upsetting as the contruction, but it was definately not up to standard in my mind. Maybe I didn't give this cigar a fighting chance, but either way I dont think I would've have been all that happy with it.

"ok."
First of all this is an ugly looking stick, is very veiny. It has some construction and i had to give it a couple of toch ups, but overall good burn. the flavor wasent that bad woody hints of nuts, but it turn bitter 2/3 in, it left a nice flavor afterwoards. it was ok but i prefer the yeallow one in this line.

"Its Long, its big, heavy and good!"
Settle in for a solid hour and a half if you want to light this baby up. The flavors are spicy, but not strong. Just a touch over mild really. Nothing harsh about this cigar, but the smoke is heavy and will coat your pallate well. I did need to retouch the burn, but that may have been more my issue than the cigar's. A real winner in an excellent budget line.

"Three Years After!"
It's been three years since I rated this cigar, and it still kicks ash. The flavor hit my taste buds just like a good corojo should. The construction was good and it's easy on the eyes. I'm not much on the other colors of this line, but red in a Serie 55 means go!

"A little long"
This is just toooo long a smoke. I let em set for a year and there just about right. When they get down to the last 3" they start going out a lot, so I just put it down then. When I first got em they went out a lot, but at 65% humidity and a long nap there much better. I do enjoy the red wine like flavor very much though. I would get more of these, but in a smaller size, the toro is perfect. On the construction side of things. After one year of nap time most of the earlier problems are gone and they burn nice and even with a decent ash. All said no a bad smoke, just to long for it's own good.

"To long but OK....maybe?"
Now it appears that I am the only one to smoke this cigar in a year. My guess is the size, is not all that popular. As always, the packaging is terrific, the construction was tight but quite veiny. When I took the cedar wrap off it had left a couple of lighter colored spots on the tobacco. My first thought was mold but that wasn’t the case. I think they were caused by the cedar wrap. The spots only marginally marred the appearance and did nothing to the taste. These are a blend of five different tobaccos emphasizing Corojo. In fact I’m not to sure the term Corojo is being used correctly when applied to these sticks. In the VS cigar the Corojo is at best an additive. Still this wasn’t too bad. I have a hard time defining this as a full bodied cigar though. To me it was quite mild. Possibly the potency of the cigar was masked by how smooth it was. I smoked this thing for what seemed like an eternity, eventually throwing out the last three inches or so because it took too much attention. My limited experience with Victor Sinclair product has shown, at least with this batching, the need to keep the flame close. Although you would have had to beat the ash off the cigar, it was the ugliest composite of grays, whites and blacks imaginable. The taste was smooth with some nice spice and did not get hot, probably because I couldn’t keep it lit. I’ve heard others describe a wine flavor and have to agree…not a very good wine though. One point worth mentioning is that as many times as the cigar required relighting, when it was re-lit the cigar continued to be very smooth. The first three inches were enjoyable…the rest of the cigar forgettable. Right now my suggestion would be to spend your money on the Camacho Corojo. These had a pretty good rest before smoking but will continue the aging process and see what changes occur later this year.

"I'm on board."
OK so I'm the only one that's smoked one of these in a year. I'm glad I decided to try another. Damned if you guys weren't right, they're good. Still tastes like dry wine but, now they taste like good medium to full wine. If you drink wine when you smoke cigars I think this would be a perfect fit.

"Funky"
Not your father's cigar. I guess you love them or hate them. I almost bought a box of 29 based on the reviews and am very happy I didn't. The corojo tobacco flavor was masked with a muted, dry, herbal, bitter, wine flavor. Not for me. Enjoy.

"Good Cigar"
This is a good cigar worth trying. I don't think that I would go out and buy a box, but definitely an enjoyable smoke. The label is beautiful and so is the footer. This is probably an attempt to draw attention from a very moddled and veiny wrapper. The draw was a lot tighter than I prefer, but acceptable. Mine had an air pocket due to one of the veins at the top of the cigar. For that reason and the veininess of the wrapper, I dropped the construction rating. I would conquer with DaKlugs that there are definitely wine flavors with this cigar. I also noticed some really nice notes of nutmeg gaining pronouncement as the cigar burned down. A solid medium smoke-recommended.

"Funky Yummy"
Lots of interesting flavors. Red wine like is my best description. The anti - pure natural tobacco flavor - but good.

"What a suprise"
A rich full bodied cigar. The ones I had were well aged with a real corojo colored wrapper. Wrapper aroma reminds one of Cuban Corojo--although this is Brazilian. Well balance with a touch of coffee and leather. Bargain

"Risk and Success"
What a suprise. Big, red and complex. Wrapper a bit heady, but flavors of cocoa come through in what is a long and enjoyable smoke. A big bargain

"Another great Victor Sinclair"
Victor Sinclair has some very nice smokes out here. Like these Serie 55 Cigars and the
Bohemian’s. The Serie 55 is the best. All 3 of the Churchill’s (Red - Corojo, Green -
Sun-Grown, Blue - Maduro) This one the Red is a top notch full body with ample complexity.
Very firm construction and attractive variegated dark and light toothy Corojo wrapper. Draw is
smooth with lots of smoke and ash that’s light gray with good hang time. Flavor is Coffee and
cocoa with other nice spice overtones I couldn’t put a tag on. Very nice humidor grade case
with dividers between each stick. In my top10. Not a give away.
