"Fast burner"
I got the Vintage sampler about two years ago. I've been nursing them along. I find these interesting but not spectacular. They all burn so fast, about half the time of any other cigar in the same shape. So I particularly like these toros when I need to burn through a cigar in a hurry. Kind of perplexed by all the hype for these Vintages.

"suitable for morning duty & handouts"
As a morning or afternoon smoke on a relatively stomach, this is fine. A little tastier than the one I had in Jan. Flavor's the same -- vanilla and cocoa. Burn and draw were excellent. Otherwise unremarkable.

"great presentation but....."
aged 1 year--appearance-the appearance was great at first with the gold bands.but all they did was cover up the veinenous of the wrapper.construction-the burn was very uneven ive seen worse but it just wasnt very good.the draw was good.flavor- the flavor was average it did have notes of cocoa and hay.the finish had some spice.value-even with all the negative that i experienced with this cigar it is still a very good value.overall-it wasnt bad.it left a nice cocoa aftertaste on the palate after finished.

"ummm....."
Ever see those "Celebs without makeup" pictures? These cigars remind me of those. Victor Sinclair can dress these cigars up all they want, but once all the fancy bands come off, it's just a regular average cigar.

"Ordinary bundle smoke (at any price)"
The box press and multi-bands give this a top shelf appearance, though the stick itself is veiny and rough. Flavor-wise, there just isn't much to talk about here. Very mild with a short, dry finish. Pleasant enough tobacco taste with occasional vanilla and cocoa notes, as advertised. Nothing objectionable, but it's a pretty average bundle smoke.

"A Surprisingly Good Smoke and a Super Value"
I am surprised by the quality of this smoke. For some reason, I was expecting a lot worse from this cigar, having recently been burned by an over-hyped 5 Vegas offering from the same, well-known Internet cigar store. This fine, square beauty definitely delivers, though, and leans toward Medium from Mild - it was a pure delight. Maduro notes of sweet hay and straw are reminiscent of other fine (and considerably more expensive) Dominican smokes. It had a nice, even burn, a surprisingly fine aroma and better yet, a perfectly firm draw. And, the beautiful white, black, and gold bands (all three of them) definitely add a touch of class. This is a bonofide, mouth-watering bargain for $1.70!

"smoother still"
Same as before, but 7 more months (that makes 13 months in my humidor) of aging has smoothed this one to silk. I urge Jeffro to try another and let it sit for a while.

"Age it baby...."
I wanted to give this one a little more aging as I have had good luck with VC cigars in the past ans I am happy to say that aging indeed helps these cigars! The VC construction is always solid. The burn evened out well after the first inch and the creamy flavor was consistent throughout. This is a decent cigar and worth 2-3 bucks any day of the week.

"Not THAT bad"
I'm sorry to read that Jeffro had a bad experience with this cigar. Perhaps it was not properly stored from the place you purchased it?
In any case, I found it to be well constructed and a smooth, deep coco-tasting smoke. It was in my humidor for about 6 months prior to smoking however. I guess the guy who rolled mind remebered to wash his hands after taking the dog out for a "walk".

3$ is about right for this cigar, but you can find it for less if you look around.

"Absolutly disgusting!!!"
Good construction...cap looked a little cheezy. Prelight draw is VERY heavy. First few lit draws were unimpressive...VERY bitter to say the least. Absolutly terrable tasting...hints of dogpoop and charred cardboard. AVOID THESE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!
