"A (costly) choice for an afterlunch cigar"
At € 8.5 apiece (a patlry $ 13), this small cigar must be good...well, it's good, but not worth its price. Excellent appearance and costruction, of course, being a memebr of the Davidoff family, but weak flavourwise, although not unpleasant, far from it. Just take it for what it is: an afterlunch cigar, which will not hurt you, but your wallet...

"Eurotrash?"
A Davidoff cigar, if I am correct. This is a nice little smoke that seems very eurocentric. The Zino Platinum is the "high-end" blend, as goes the price. Its a nice smoke - a bit of wood and nut drifting into light spice at the finish. Very well made, but probably not worth such a price. I suspect the perfecto version of this would be excellent.

"Short, simple, and sweet"
The appearance and construction of this cigar are great. The draw and burn are also just right for my taste. This is definitely a mild cigar, and a bit simple, as others have said, but I find it enjoyable. Starts out woody with a hint of vanilla and becomes peppery towards the end, but never overpowering. At $6 I would buy many more of these, but at $8 I only buy them occasionally.

"decent"
This is a medium-bodied dominican tasting smoke, somewhat woody and a little peppery tasting. The Peruvian filler sort of gives it a little bit of a funky taste. Typical quality Ecuadorian wrapper. Not really a strong cigar by any means and certainly not very complex, however it's a solid smoke. Not worth the high price--this cigar is probably a $5 smoke as opposed to the outrageous prices it goes for.
Burn and construction are excellent, it's probably the high point of this cigar. Just not interesting enough for me to buy again.

"Not Bad"
I read about the low rider in a Playboy article on throwing a good poker party so I tried the Shorty cause it was "cheaper". Maybe the cost makes you think they're top notch, but in reality, I don't believe I'll buy more because there are just too many sticks out there that are just as good for half the cost. If you wanna look cool though........

"paper and pepper"
The title about says it all. The flavor started out promising with cayenne and pears but quickly turned to crisp newspaper and black pepper. Towards the end, notes of mint became evident, but the papery flavor turned to cardboard and dominated the experience. The pepper flavor was still strong as well. Overall, one of the more lively medium-bodied smokes I’ve come across, (pretty strong for its size, too), but I just don’t care for the taste of paper in a cigar. The construction was very good – perfect draw and tons of smoke, but I don’t think I’ll try this one again.

PS – I agree with the previous reviewer who suggested that this cigar would pair well with a good Tequila - particularly a blanco.

"Fantastic construction"
This was reallynicely rolled, perfect draw, great burn. The taste was OK but far too mild for my tastes. I suppose these are made for people who want a nice mild cigar.

"Just fell short"
I selected this stick out of my humi for a quality smoke to enjoy in a short period of time. Very smooth tan wrapper with almost no veining. Construction seemed solid except for the foot, which was soft and loose. Prelight aroma was average - nothing to write home about. Light was easy. Draw was hot and harsh for the first 1/2 inch until the construction started to improve (this was stored and handled appropriately, so it was not iatrogenic). Started immediately with several woody notes, particularly oak and cedar, as well as mild pepper. The flavor remained one-dimensional throughout, though it became smoother as it was smoked. The ash was white-gray and was flakey (especially at the foot). Voluminous smoke. This 30 minute cigar actually has some kick to it, which was surprising given its small stature. In the end, however, I felt that there were much better smokes out there for the price. Paired well with a fine tequila (Patron silver).

"I could not agree more."
There are better cigars out there for less money!! I paid $9.50! The cigar was stronger than I expected - Although the appearance and construction of this cigar were on par with other excellent cigars, the flavor was undescribable - woody and peppery would be a start, but lacking other distinguishing characteristics - just not particularly memorable for the money.

"Almost"
While the cigar was beautifully constructed with a very smooth wrapper, the flavor was not quite there. Some spice towards the last 3rd, but, overall, there are many better cigars out there for much less money.
