    Pre Embargo from CI?

Doesn't Camacho claim to use "pre-embargo" baccy in the Liberty's? Besides Camacho and Pinar, Finck claims to use it in their Havana Blend as well.

    Casa Magna?

That is what I have heard as well. Frankly, I like these better than the JdN's. I've had a few. They are a new line, essentially, by Fonseca. A Nic puro that is not that "full" but is very balanced with good flavor and are very well constructed.

    Pepin recommendations??

FWIW, Pepin is virtually all about spice/pepper. Go for the Cabaiguan! Or try the new La Aroma de Cuba Edition Especial and Tobacos Baez and the Vegas Cubanas. The Ashton Benchmade is another good choice. Or even the Tat White Labels.

    Odd results to humidity experiment

Hmmm. I see nothing about cigars in the fist post. ;) Also, A hydrometer is an instrument used to measure the specific gravity (or relative density) of liquids. Hygrometers are instruments used for measuring humidity. In any case, it is very interesting.

    Drew Estate Java

The non-flavored stuff isn't too bad. LVH's, Liga Privada # 9 and the Château Real. I'll leave the flavored/infused stuff for others to enjoy.

Smoked my first Padilla today ... not impressed

I never cared for any Padilla's except the Miami and the '32 Signature that Pepin produced. Also, the '68. The new Miami is still good but not what I was used to with the Pepin mades. The new '32's are still very good, imo.

    Blazer brand butane

Both the Blazer and Zippo fuel are 3x refined and are good, imo. I don't know how age would affect it though.

Anyone know what this cigar might be??

You don't need to post another pic. Like the others said, it's either a Coronas Major or Minor. What does the tube say?

What NC is most like an ISOM stick?

They are nc's. :D Cabaiguans are a good second to cuban cigars, imo. But it really is like comparing apples to oranges.
