The Panatela is a long, thin cigar, generally around 6 to 7.5 inches in length with a ring gauge between 34 and 40. Even slimmer than many Lanceros, the Panatela is known for delivering lighter smoke output and highlighting the wrapper’s character. Historically, Panatelas were once very popular in both Cuban and non-Cuban markets and were considered elegant, traditional sizes. Compared to the Lancero, the Panatela is often slightly thinner and can feel even more delicate. For beginners, it offers a classic, refined smoke with a somewhat lighter presence.
